I had an old account from when I was younger that had been long canceled and delt with from years ago. I had been going here for years and always paid on time. They wouldn't let me work out for over a week recently, because their accounting apparently never closed out my old account and lost the money I had paid to close it??? So rediculous and suspicious. They "weren't able" to even get a hold of the accountant, because he "never came in to work". I would not trust this company at all, very unprofessional. The front desk is no help and the manager doesn't care about everyday paying customers only her private clients. They were even ignoring my calls to check if the accountant showed up so I could workout again. I had to waste my time and gas driving her multiple times and mess with me and my babies schedule to try to get more information. It's hard to reach them especially the manager. She ended up saying that they figured it out and I could resume my workouts again? Of course I wasn't reimbursed for the week they didn't allow me to workout. It's also very dirty and smells bad most of the time. Overall just an extremely poorly ran gym. It used to be so much better when I first started going years ago, just keeps going downhill.

First time,I arrived and left immediately because the air ducts smelled like mold. Tonight, the smell was even worse--it smelled like sewage. I asked the front desk clerk about the issue, and she was kind enough to say that a plumber had come to assess the pipes and found no problem. I appreciated that she took the initiative to open the doors and air out the place, but it was still rank. Now, let's talk about the upstairs area. My boyfriend and I were concerned a couple of months ago when we noticed three huge cracks across the entire length of the cardio equipment work area. Needless to say, this issue made me feel unsafe, so I decided to work out downstairs that day. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk said he would bring it up to the manager. However, the cracks are still there. But the smell is the worst part. It's just awful. I'm starting to consider looking at other gyms because this place seems to be getting worse and worse.

Symmetry is a small personal training center that is NOTHING like big corporate gyms. Walking into…read moreSymmetry is like walking into Cheers because everyone who works there knows you and genuinely cares about you. I can't come up with a good TV show analogy for interacting with other clients and it's hard to describe how you end up feeling supported and supportive of another client working out across the room but you do. There is something about Symmetry that makes everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and included and that is so unusual in the best way. It's something you'll feel when you walk in the door. And fair warning, you can also expect to have Jay throw something at you as you walk in and yet strangely, you look forward to it. The best way to get a sense of what it's like to be a Symmetry client is to take advantage of the free consultation offer. But if you're like me & want a sense before u set foot inside the door then u should check out the testimonials on their website. I tried to cut & paste mine here but it exceeded the text limit! Actually everybody should read the testimonials. When u look at their testimonials you will see the diversity of the clientele and how much we care about the gym & our respective trainers. The testimonials offer a very detailed and genuine peek into the gym so to speak. It's rare for a gym to get so many clients to actually write out testimonial -- even rarer for them to be so open and personal. That's true with respect to Facebook too. How many gym's have pages that customers actively engage with? They go beyond sharing just fitness info and celebrate their clients on that page & their clients appreciate it (yes, I am speaking from experience ). Symmetry is a like personalized gym community -- whoever u train with is going to work WITH you to accomplish YOUR goals. Everybody at the gym is going to cheer you on whatever those may be.

The Doc wanted to open me up again or start injections and the PT didn't know what to do for me anymore. They told me I should plan on only doing pilates or swimming from here on out, but that wasn't going to work for an active person such as myself. It ended up being weakness in my last two toes which Jason had an exercise for along with the rest of the weak parts in my body. Needless to say, I've discontinued seeing both of those previous advisors and have started my journey back to a stronger, healthier me with SYMMETRY. (I mean, why would you ever resort to treating something if you could prevent/stop it from happening in the first place?!) Symmetry is a no-brainer.

I did some research on the gyms near my sister's home in Naples. Addicted to fitness seemed like the best bet but was concerned if it had enough of the equipment I needed based on reading the website. For a change it was the website underselling just how good this place really is. Image you were a billionaire and had your own gym for you and your friends to use. What would I expect? That it wouldn't be a massive set of treadmills it wouldn't be a pocket gym with no manager just a card. The place would have been decorated not feel like a basement. The staff would welcome you by name. There'd be free wi-fi access to water and coffee and men and woman's bathrooms with showers. The machines would be new and in pristine shape. Owners Jon and Michelle were welcoming and actually took the time to show me which machines I'd need to do each part of my routine. Normally YOYO unless you have a trainer. But yes they have those too. Paraphrasing Ms Riding hood not too big not too small just right. And did I mention the free wifi and being called by name?

We all need to relax and unwind and this is an ideal place to do it…read more On entry, it feels like few other spas I experienced. The door has dark tint to block the harsh glare of a hot, Florida summer day and the tone is very subdued. The natural colors and decor make this feel like you have been transported to another place far from the reality of daily living. As I entered, it is very quiet and I believe I may have been the only customer. I was greeted by Derek (husband of the owner) and he immediately made me feel relaxed and ready for a new experience. He started with a tour of the facility with a stop to peruse the tray of salts from around the world... India, Hawaii, Poland (his home country). Lastly, we entered the "Adult" salt cave. The room was almost exactly as it appears online (I imagine the photographer used lighting to highlight the appearance). The room has dimmed mood lighting with tranquil background music and waves lapping a beach. The floor is covered in a finer salt so booties are provided and shoes can be left outside the door. The chairs are reclining loungers with each having a super soft blanket waiting. The sessions start at the top of each hour and last 50 minutes but as I am picking my chair, Derek tells me I can stay longer if I would like. He also mentions many people will fall asleep while here. Being that I don't sleep well, I was looking for the possible benefits of the salt and some quiet meditation. Whatever the combination of elements were at work... they did the trick. I was able to relax but didn't fall asleep which was what I really wanted. A while later he entered the room with 2 more women. I asked if it had been an hour and he said yes but stay if you would like. I would have liked but had other things to do so I decided to leave so I would disturb the others in a while. The whole experience was very refreshing and worth the price. I wish it were closer to home... I would treat myself again. Thank you Derek!
