I purchased a Spring workout instead of the Summer one. I realized immediately and reached out to her FOUR times on instagram, two emails, one tweet, and three phone calls later. Nothing. She blantently ignored me on all surfaces. I never wanted my money back, only to switch my money over to the Summer challenge but she basically just took my money and ran with it. Also it's extremely frustrating when you can see her completely skip over your comment but answer the ones above and below yours as well. Totally rude. And as of today she has deleted ALL of my comments on her instagram. So to say she doesn't care about her clients is obviously very apparent. I've done her challenges before, but will NEVER give her anything else ever again. She obviously only cares about her money and not "success stories".

And theres actually machines built to target your glutes. So many times I find myself using a machine in a way it wasn't intended because I'm trying to target my glutes, or trying g to make a machine work for my tiny body when clearly it was made for a man. The staff is very friendly and the gym is clean. Unfortunately the location isn't convenient enough for an everyday gym but I will definitely visit again. $10 for guest, and you can't have your gym bag out on the floor (but for the macho guys I didn't see any signs about grunting so you should be good)

**reviewed based off initial 30 minute stretch promotion, currently available to all via their…read morewebsite** I checked out Stretch Zone for the first time today and I have to say - I feel great afterward! I was paired with Nick who sat down with me to understand my body limitations and goals for the visit. We decided to focus on lower body stretching today. I am regularly active but I also sit in a chair in front of a computer for a living - not great for personal mobility. The space is open concept with 6 or so stretching tables, spaced far enough apart to have a personal conversation and still a warm, professional, and inviting experience. While I was there I saw people of all ages and differing levels of mobility come in. At the beginning of the session my natural stretch ability in my hamstrings was at 60 degrees, and after my session I was at 90 degrees (or more, depending on the leg) - awesome, quick results. Communication with Nick through the stretches was great and he was always careful to listen to my preferences. I could move more freely walking out than I did walking in. I would highly recommend checking out Stretch Zone for yourself, they have only been open in this location for about 4 months and seem to have plenty of time slots open (for now, wait until word gets out!) for appointments.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Stretch Zone! Truly the highlight of my week to be stretched here!…read more I was skeptical when first introduced to the concept and did some research of my own and read all the negatives, but decided to go ahead and go in to Stretch Zone about a month or more ago and meet with the GM Nick Vankleeck, and try the complimentary 30 minute stretching. After Nick was done stretching me I was completely sold. I am a big guy, at least twice the size of most folks and Nick made it look effortless to give me a really good working over. I seriously felt taller and lighter on my feet when he was finished with that introductory stretch. Nick then explained the financial details going forward and I made my selection. Most people go once, twice, or three times a week for a 30 minute stretch. Well me the overachiever, the more the better, the no pain, no gain type decided I wanted to go for a full hour twice a week. My original appointment with Nick was on a Friday morning and I made my first full hour appointment for that very afternoon with Connor, Connor did a great job! Trust me I am not easy to stretch due to my size and Connor made it look and feel effortless on his part. Connor did an excellent job getting me all nice and limber. The following week I was back with Nick and his more aggressive technique that fits so well with my preference and personality. Felt like I was walking on air when I left after being stretched. The next appointment that week, when I arrived, Nick explained that he had some GM type duties that required his personal attention and so Nick had passed me off to Jess for that hour. Jess was amazing. Jess's technique was different that either Connor's or Nick's, but fit so well with me, that I actually made an extra appointment with Jess the following week. I am sad that Jess is leaving us to return to college after the end of the year. I am personally hoping he will return for the summer, but everyone at Stretch Zone is so good! Anthony I have not had the pleasure of being stretched by, but I feel so comfortable with him that I am sure when it happens it will be a great experience. The people who work here all personally mesh really well and it's a very comfortable environment in which to be a client. Oh and you cannot forget Miz Joyce who runs the front desk and keeps everyone on their best behavior. I have been stretched twice a week for an hour long session each time for just over a month now and have my appointments set up for the next month. I have seen a real improvement in my flexibility, my balance, and in my movement. Whatever your condition StretchZone is for you! Oh I should mention that I am usually a very deep tissue massage type and usually go at least weekly since staring my Stretch Zone journey I have not felt the need for massage work. Come in and find out for yourself how well Stretch Zone can help you, no matter if you are an athlete or a couch potato, they can improve your life.

The types of beginner classes change monthly. For January they offered Tango and East Coast Swing. You can do one class for $10 or two classes for $15. Dance Louisville has additional group classes a couple nights a week and they also offer private lessons. After your first group class you can even get a 30 minute private dance lesson for free! Our instructor very friendly and easy to follow. You learn leader steps, then follower steps, then you partner up with music to practice. You get plenty of time to cover the basic steps and they make sure everyone has a chance to ask questions or get more personalize practiced. In an hour time, about 45 minutes is the lesson and the last 15 minutes are used as free practice with music. My partner and I picked up the moves and had a really great time trying something new. My partner was originally just going for my interest but by the end grabbed the dance calendar and said he was willing to come back.

It had been a while so I was a bit hesitant to start a new place with new people. (Sometimes it can be intimidating). This studio made it easy. At the beginning of the year I decided that I would attempt to find a yoga studio that worked for me and that I loved! This is the second studio that I attend in Louisville and I LOVED IT! I can't say enough about them! I loved how they made me feel immediately! I took a class by Meredith and immediately loved her instruction! I love their energy. I love their schedule (so flexible and so many options- meets all kinds of schedules). You can attend the morning class- 6am all the way until the evening. This is amazing because someone with my busy schedule- I need the options! I loved all the instructors. I loved all the yoga class options! They have many many times to choose from! There staff is polite. (Although they didn't let me borrow a yogi towel when I forgot mine ). The classes often began with an intention or mediation which was so replenishing for my soul. Depending on the instructor and type of yoga- you either get a more relaxing program or a workout! I personally liked the more intensive classes (Cary and Meredith are AMAZING)! Sometimes I would bien up to 600 calories with them. I have tried two other yoga studios, and let me tell you this is by far my favorite. I plan to check out a couple more before I make my final decision but this is definitely my number 1 choice and I would gladly pay the membership fee! They are so kind, the environment is clean. Although the white towels in the bathroom sometimes did smell like sweat . If you're trying hot yoga for the first time or need a new studio, I would highly encourage you to try this one. Best of luck yogi friends.
