This is a women's fitness studio with trainers who are encouraging and supportive. There are…read moreclasses that focus on different muscles and the workouts change each month. The trainer will walk you through the exercises at the beginning of each class and then they'll turn up high energy playlists for warm ups and the workouts. There are four sections that you rotate between, each section has at least two exercises. So if you end up dreading one of the sections, you're only there for a few minutes. The trainers will take the time to help you with the exercises if you're struggling and suggest modifications to the workouts if you need them. The classes have made me much more comfortable with incorporating weights into my workouts. The only downside is that facility does not have a shower and the last classes during the week begin at 5:30 pm.

I joined for a month with a friend. I had been a member at PF but found it quit boring! Ambition has went above and beyond in results, classes, and making you realize that you can do it! My 1st class was Upper Hirt. 4 stations...teams together supporting each other. The break down is each station has 2 special movements and or weights geared for that area of muscle and body strength. The team is in groups and each switches off to do those particular tasks. The class last for 45 minutes and let me tell you...YOU WILL WORK YOUR ASS OFF AND YOU WILL FEEL IT THEN AND THE NEXT DAYS TO COME! They also have Lower Hirt. Full Body...Etc. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ambition Fitness! I am 53 and trying to tone and build muscle with cardio. This is WOMEN ONLY and a fun women bonding experience. You will love it and be proud of your success. Please mention my name if and when you call. Katie will Be eager to help answer any and all of your questions.

My internist recommended the Bone Strong Pilates program, because she knew patients whose bone density had increased significantly because of participation in the Bone Strong program. It's too early to know if my bone density has improved. My next Dexa scan will be in June 2022. But I can attest to the other benefits of Holly's Pilates! I had never practiced Pilates before. But I am now a Pilates convert. I practice three times a week with three different instructors: 2 private sessions and 1 class. With each instructor I learn something different that enhances my Pilates practice. I am definitely stronger, fitter, and more flexible. Also I am sleeping better and overall have more energy and joy. Whatever my Dexa scan results show next summer, I will continue my Pilates regimen because it has greatly enhanced my life. Any improvement in my bone density, which I do expect, will be icing on the cake. I recommend Holly's Pilates Village enthusiastically and without reservation, whether or not you have osteoporosis.

I'm…read morealways looking for active options that I can work into my lifestyle so when Shane approached me at a festival offering complimentary training sessions to try out HomeFit I had an open mind. We arranged a couples workout at the HomeFit studio. I thought I'd be intimidated by a more boutique gym but I found the staff and clients really welcoming and I felt right at home. Shane sat down with us to talk about not just fitness but also our overall health goals. That's a nice approach I haven't seen other places, I like that they coach clients on activity levels and also nutrition education and mindset. The training session itself was FUN and encouraging. For a ~45 minute workout he made sure to match our pace and wow did I feel it the next day! I appreciate him getting to know me first then meeting my specific needs in session. While we were working out there was a class going on with about ten people. I saw all different ages and fitness levels and I appreciate they have a kids area so I can bring my 5 year old to hang out if I want to get a class in :) We ended up going for our second intro session and after a positive experience we're going to convert to a monthly plan. Between the positive environment, feeling of community, and the ability to have a team coach us to overall health goals we set together I feel like there is a ton of value in this system that I wasn't getting at my local big box gym. This is a change in lifestyle for me and that's not going to 'stick' without encouragement and support. Final fun fact ~ they are called HomeFit because your trainer will come out to your home (or work??) to get in a training session. Seems super convenient, you know I'll be trying out that option.

Instead of the common experience of adding the "Covid 15" pounds, I am getting in much better shape and still loosing weight. Additionally, I canceled months ago but recently found out I was still being charged... the club manager was supposed to call me back about this issue and never did. The club manager doesn't care about clients. They just pretend online to save face and their job. CONS (AND MAJOR CONS) - not ADA friendly or accessible. And that excludes a large portion of society who need a gym the most. I couldn't sign up for the year that I was in a wheelchair due to this. When my mom was on her walker, she had to park at Heine Brothers multiple times because three cars without Handicap credentials were parked in the reserved Handicap spots by lazy selfish humans. I informed staff about the handicap situation after counting four cars parked illegally and was told there is nothing they can do about it. It would be nice if staff could advocate for the disabled by speaking on the intercom and/or posting on the doors/locker room about not parking in handicap if you don't have the credentials. This has been a constant problem for my mother whom is handicapped and myself since a recent surgery. - Unable to get through front doors if you are in a wheelchair. This caused me to wait until I was out of a wheelchair before signing up. I ended up being unable to get anyone to hold the door, and clients would walk by me. - Ample ADA accessibility laws are not being followed. For example, doors weigh over 5 lbs with kickbacks. Making someone with low mobility, on crutches, or in a wheelchair unable to access. The facility is clean, but there is room for growth, and staff mentioned this has been a problem. However, they even say management does nothing. S, if no one is going to speak up and advocate for society's most vulnerable, I will.
