At this point, it feels like members only get access to half the gym -- maybe that should come with a reduced price.

The sign up process was fine, though they only accept direct withdrawals from a bank account which is kinda disappointing but hence the drop in star but the staff all seemed to be very friendly and they accomodate adults, children groups of people with disabliities as well as seniors looking to play 'pickle ball'. I come to work out around 3-4 times a week at this location and here are my thoughts. Parking can be tough if you come during peak times such as after work and weekends. The staff is friendly and they maintain the facilities cleanly and diligently. There are very restricted times and days you are able to come in for laps or shooting hoops so if you think you will sign up and go there as you please, that is unfortunately not the case.. While the basketball court area is nice and the pool is warm, the gym is pretty small and very congested. The lifting area is always dominated by males and you generally have to wait to use a lot of the popular machines. Collectively with the discount my boyfriend and I spend around $70 a month in the beginning of each month. Here is some important news, if you are looking to cancel your membership be sure to give them a full 30 days notice cause they is no such thing as a "cancellation fee" which I found to be really odd.

I attended the Hot Powerflow Fusion class which is challenging but not impossible by any means.You just have to take things at your own pace and Nicole continued to make that clear throughout the class. However, the one thing that I did notice is that there are a lot of regulars here and because of that, there isn't really much guidance at the beginning of class as far as how to set up your equipment, etc (or even what equipment is needed/where to get it). It was all easy enough to find in the closets but would have been nice to have known in advance. I felt really great leaving the studio, this class definitely left my mind very sharp and my body feeling sore but accomplished the next day. I would recommend this for both newbies and experienced hot yoga practitioners.

Our child was incredibly blessed to have incredible teachers who loved and cared for our child during that time. Each classroom was truly filled with love and patience and I do not want the rest of this review to underscore those incredible teachers in my child's classrooms. With that said, As our child approached the age of 3, they received an autism diagnosis. The JCC metro west staff was notified of this diagnosis. 2 weeks after informing the staff of our child's diagnosis, our child was exited from the ECC program with less than 24 hours' notice. Regardless of the circumstances, giving a family less than a day's notice to find alternative childcare is incredibly disruptive and, in our experience, showed a lack of compassion and partnership. As parents, we trusted this program to work with us through challenges. Instead, we were left scrambling overnight to figure out childcare, work obligations, and next steps for our child. The emotional and logistical impact on our family was significant. What disappointed us most was not simply the decision itself, but how it was handled. Families deserve clear communication, transparency, and enough notice to make arrangements--especially when young children are involved. If your child has developmental differences or may require additional support, I encourage you to have detailed conversations about the program's ability and willingness to accommodate those needs before enrolling. Our experience left us feeling unsupported during one of the most difficult periods our family has faced. I hope the JCC reviews its policies and communication practices so that no other family experiences the same abrupt transition that we did.
