Where do I even start to share how incredible this place is?!?! I started at Pennsylvania Pole…read moreAcademy in June 2025, and from the second I walked in, I felt welcomed. The owner, Tash, greeted me as a new student, gave me a tour of the studio, and instantly made the space feel warm and comfortable instead of intimidating.
I signed up for an all-levels class with zero knowledge of pole and was met with so much kindness from the other students. I never once felt judged for how I looked, what I could or couldn't do, or for messing up (which I did plenty of times!). Instead, everyone was encouraging, supportive, and genuinely happy to see each other succeed. The community here is unreal!! There's so much camaraderie, hype, and care, and it makes such a difference walking into a space where people actually root for you.
Since starting classes here, it's honestly been life-changing for me - physically, mentally, and emotionally. This studio offers way more than just pole, too. They have aerial classes like silks, lyra, and trapeze, and the flexibility classes are incredible. The full-body workouts are challenging in the best way--they push you without making you feel defeated and help you condition yourself to gain strength for pole.
Every instructor brings something different to the table, and you can really tell how skilled and passionate they are about what they teach. I also love the chair dance classes, handstand classes, and Twerkshop is hands-down my FAVORITE! Also the pole flow classes and the foundations of movement classes are very fun! Every class makes me feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to my body.
If you're even thinking about trying pole or aerials--whether you're nervous, brand new, or just looking for a supportive place to move and grow--I'm so glad I found this studio, and I can't recommend it enough!!!
