His overall knowledge and understanding about the body, and also about nutrition is unmatched. The class is always changing, always adapting to new things. The approach he has towards your fitness is much different than others, and I love it. He cares more about mobility and techniques in your exercises and that is how it should be. As this lowers the risk of injury and also ensures that you are doing things correctly, which will lead to more strength and mobility. There is no "standard" set, it is based on you and how you personally perform and how you can build from that; in a sense you against yourself. It is open 6 days a week, with Thursday's being a mobility day, typically yoga or Pilates, and other forms of active recovery, which is crucial and something that not everyone even thinks about adding to their workout plans, but definitely should. Mobility is something that we as a society have lost due to sitting 8 hours a day. While I personally have seen improvements in all my workouts since starting there, my overall mobility is what I have seen the most improvement. I have yet to have any personal training there, as I only do the classes, however as far as I can tell, those that do personal training have nothing but high praises as well.

It feels like you're interrupting their scrolling or snack time just to ask a simple question. There's zero sense of professionalism, accountability, or customer service. If the staff put half as much effort into doing their jobs as they do into their phones, this place might actually live up to its marketing. Billing is an absolute nightmare. They do not clearly tell you that if you don't cancel months in advance, you will not get your annual fee refunded. When you try to ask about it, no one at the front desk seems to know anything about billing at all. Instead, they send you to an outside company -- who then sends you right back to the gym. Back and forth. Over and over. No one takes responsibility, and no one can issue a refund. To make it even worse, staff will tell you they'll "call you back" and then never do. No follow-up. No accountability. Just silence. It's incredibly frustrating to pay monthly for a business that can't be bothered to offer basic professionalism or customer service. Planet Fitness may be cheap, but the way this place is run makes it clear why.

I was initially drawn in because I could receive four free monthly workouts by using my Healthcare Renew Active plan (recommended). Since then I've added an additional four monthly workouts on my own dime. After six months, I can notice the difference, especially in my Abs. No, I don't have a six pack (or even a two pack), but my core is significantly stronger. That was the goal from the very beginning.
