I've had lapses where my insurance didn't pay and she's so important to my mental health and growth that I've have paid out of pocket for a year just to continue my treatment path with her.

Never have I ever met such a condescending physician! I'm not sure if it was due to the therapist…read morealso playing the role of secretary but she was misleading. I was under the impression that after an in person consultation I'd be able to do telehealth. She gave consultation and then told me I'd be matched with another therapist in the same facility. When scheduling next visit she then stated even if I used telehealth I'd be charged copay. When I informed her my insurance states otherwise she said they could charge that because they're a private practice. I declined at the time but later changed my mind. I figured I'd bite the bullet and pay for the help I need so I then called the next week to schedule as advised previously. There was a new receptionist who went and got her on the line and she acted as if she needed a refresher of who I was and what we spoke about and then stated as a private practice they don't do telehealth and said she'll have scheduler call me back since I said I'd come in person(requires fee). I received a call the next day stating the therapist won't see me but wouldn't disclose why. I believe it is due to things that occurred with the other therapist who was confused while also playing receptionist. It's sad personal opinions can effect the help a patient is able to receive. Through all this I've requested my medical record from the intake several times and when I finally receive it it doesn't even include the real concerns during intake session which leads me to believe they were never considering really working with me anyway. I've received a misdated letter stating I chose not to go with their clinic at the time. Which in my opinion is manipulative when the only reason I can't attend is because they were charging fees my insurance said was waived. This facility is a waste of time I'm glad I found help elsewhere! I was forced to give stars this place gets a zero.

I am SHOCKED by the lack of empathy these people have. To start off, this is not JUST about…read moreappointment availability or lack of customer service, my frustration is from my concern and the LACK of their concern for the well-being of my child. My child's pediatrician and psychiatrist wanted him to have a neuropsychological evaluation done to determine if he has a possible learning disability. I called in Jan and was scheduled for the end of March. I was also put on a "cancellation list" in hopes to be seen sooner since the results of this will help determine how we move forward. I called today to see if there was any cancellations and instead of being seen sooner, they informed us that he cant be seen in March because they scheduled him with the wrong doctor, put it down as the wrong type of visit, and the Dr hes scheduled with no longer takes his insurance so it would be out of pocket if we wish to reschedule for a later date. $1200+ out of pocket.... I asked to be rescheduled and they offered an AUGUST appointment with a different doctor. 5 months after his previous (now cancelled) appointment and 7 months after I first called to set up the appointment in Jan. I asked if the Doctor could possibly make an exception given the circumstances and was told that "the Dr actually isn't accepting new patients at all so were already making an exception by seeing him in August." Oh, and they offered to put me on a "cancellation list" which is what started this whole snowball effect in the first place. What a joke. After the way I was treated today I wouldn't trust them with my dog, much less my child.
