Both Karen and Sarah were helpful with meal ideas, dietary exchanges and I lost weight on their meal plan. I think that they both are good with various nutritional advice, and talking about the issues surrounding food and weight. My suggestion would be to have given me more meal options and not have the diet be quite so strict, but Karen did help me for awhile and I think that she's good at what she does. I have since moved away but I think Karen is very knowledgeable and of a high caliber, I wish I knew someone as good as her in Philadelphia.

I found myself in a situation with a relationship that left me in a very confused and hurt state. Suffice it to say, it ended up being with an incredibly toxic person, and if I hadn't decided to meet with Melissa at Sanctuary Integrative Center (SIC) before shit hit the fan (I could tell things were starting to head in that direction, and knew I needed help getting my anxiety under control), I'm not sure what would have happened, but I know for sure it would not have been good. Melissa helped me see things from an outside perspective and validate what I was feeling. She helped me identify emotions and what to do with them, to love myself for me instead of relying on someone else for validation. Perhaps most importantly, to take a step back and breathe. She is an incredibly kind person and I am so thankful for the help she provided to me. I would highly recommend anyone who has trouble with the issues I outlined in the beginning and/or has issues keeping their anxiety in check to reach out to her and give SIC a shot. They have many free weights and pretty much any machine you can imagine, excellent cardio selection so overall A+ equipment. My only issue is the gym is very small, so when there are 15+ people it is difficult to maneuver and you may have to wait for a machine or bench.
