I've known Kort and Sven for over 4 years and they enjoy what they do. They encourage everyone to workout smart and support your fitness goals. They also modify exercises based on injuries, it's not a one size fits all exercise mentality. They are structured; warmups, main workouts and stretching at the end. It's easy signing up for classes on the app. Coach Edgar has been a great addition to the team. He is bilingual and speaks Spanish which is helpful. Please stop by and try out a free session!

I think a lot people would probably look Revision's monthly fees and believe it competes with a big…read morebox facility like Equinox in the luxury gym market. However, this assumption could not be more erroneous. Equinox is a $250 a month "luxury" gym with over 20 year old equipment, and amenities that you have to pay extra for. In my past experience, they struggled to have towels ready half the time I requested one, and the cleanliness has gone downhill over the last few years. In contrast, Revision is in a class of its own as a cutting-edge and innovative wellness center, that just so happens to have a state of the art gym. In addition, the facility is immaculate (you can practically eat off the floors), with a great layout that ensures that everything is easy to find and stays organized. The best thing about Revision is that all of its amenities (cold plunge/infrared sauna, Ceragem massage bed, cryotherapy, compression therapy, red light therapy, meditation pods, etc.), can be utilized on an unlimited basis monthly. If you go to a typical spa or wellness center and purchase 1 or 2 amenities, the costs can easily total more than Revision's fees for a single month. In other words, the membership pays for itself very quickly regardless of whether or not you choose to utilize the gym component of the center. If you do decide to use the gym, the environment is supportive and non-intimidating, and there is a variety of diverse equipment to use (pendulum squat, smith machine, free weights, and cardio equipment that blows away anything you would find at a big box store like 24 hr. Fitness, Gold's Gym, or even Equinox). In terms of atmosphere, I've been searching a long time for a gym that feels like an actual community, as opposed to a meat market embedded within a warehouse of equipment, as most gyms within the area turn out to be. Within my first week or two there, Carolyn, one of the owners, came up to me and asked "Do you have any problems, complaints, or issues. We like to address them immediately." For me, those were magic words that I rarely hear from any business owner, regardless of the industry. It's a great feeling when your input is not only valued, but actually solicited. In addition, both owners (Dusty and Carolyn) are completely on top of catering to members individual needs. For example, I asked for a trap bar and a free-motion/dual cable machine, and they made it happen without me having to engage in any follow-up, which has been non-existent in my experience at other gyms. In the past, whenever I had an issue at a different gym such as Gold's or 24 hr., I would get the passive aggressive "we'll look into it," in response to a request of mine, but of course they never did. Instead, I would literally have to nag the front desk staff or management ad nauseam about the issue, and still not have success. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that most gyms only care about the bottom line (total patrons), and don't want to hear your complaints or input because you're just another number. People want to feel like they matter and have a voice that is heard. At Revision, you have a voice and you matter.

I was about a year postpartum when I joined the gym and I can honestly say that Diana helped me feel good again. Bathrooms are clean and always well stocked with hair ties and all the women necessities. The community is great. Been a member for over a year, so many mixed feelings about this gym…read more The best part is; Women's only! Amazing, have had amazing interactions and new friendships with the women here. The energy is great until recently, newer members can be rude and don't have common courtesy or gym etiquette. Keep in mind price is high, I pay almost $300 for the membership that does include spin and Pilates. But the class schedule now isn't the best. A lot of the OG good Pilates instructors have quit. Shani is definitely the best one still here. Jill's spin class is 10/10. But I don't see why the high price tag. A lot of machines are constantly broken. The bathrooms are constantly out of soap and toilet paper, and are dirty half the time. Classes get cancelled constantly. A few of the instructors are rude and hog gym equipment. Ash at front desk is the best and always so sweet, Skye and Dani have amazing strength classes but I can't make it half the time due to the inconsistency with child care, even tho Lupe is amazing with kids. But the rest of the staff can be rude and not accommodating. Always new front desk girls What brought me here originally was the kids club. As a new mom, this was the best opportunity. There is just no consistency and there's a lot of rules and regulations that aren't really discussed when you sign up. They advertise everywhere that they offer kids club but at least once a week, kids club is closed or opened late and a different time daily so I end up missing or being late to my scheduled classes. Originally I was taking 2 classes some days, being at the gym for over 2 hours, using the gym as therapy with new girlfriends. Then I was told I'm only allowed to use kids club for an hour and 15 minutes whether someone is in there to watch your kid or not. Which is not a lot of time. After an hour class, I barely have time to use the restroom and fill up my water before I'm texted to come pick up my daughter. Leaves me no time to use the amenities I'm paying for. There's no food or drinks allowed for the kids but it seems these rules are only targeted to certain members. A lot of moms have canceled their membership due to this and have gone to equinox which makes sense given we pay equinox prices. The communication in the gym is very poor. Classes with my favorite instructors are canceled with no explanation. Gym floor classes have been moved to an even darker corner with no ventilation or room for the class size it's intended for. A lot of the girls are from class pass and apparently can't use any basic amenities which again how is anyone supposed to know. There's no signs up or communication. It just seems to be one thing after another but I really hope they continue to try to make changes so they don't lose anymore members. I love it here and my daughter loves coming with me, it's just becoming more of burden as of late.

I've been a member for about 3 months and it's been such an incredible experience so far. Sivan was super helpful and helped me sign up. Her and along with everyone else I've encountered with have been nothing but wonderful. I did my assessment and complimentary personal training session with Jenn. She has such an extensive knowledge about wellness especially when it comes to women's health. She gave me some pointers about rebuilding my pelvic floor strength and put together a plan for me. I've also attended a few mat pilates and spin classes, which were great. Last month, I had a facial in their spa which was relaxing and exactly what I needed after not having a facial for almost a year. On a few occasions, I've brought my son with me and had him stay in the Kids Club. Emme and the others are so sweet and welcoming. Overall my experience at Equinox Woodland Hills has been really wonderful - from the welcoming staff, clean facility, variety of classes, to the positive vibes. Now as a working mom, I don't have as much time to go as often but I'm hoping to keep up with my work out routine.

Yet every time I arrive, there is still no hot water. As a member who visits almost daily to work out and use the amenities, having access to a hot shower is an essential part of the experience I'm paying for. Being expected to shower in cold water for two weeks is completely unacceptable and creates a terrible member experience. Fitness facilities that provide shower amenities are generally expected to maintain functioning plumbing and an adequate supply of hot water under applicable health and building codes. Keeping members without hot water for this long, while repeatedly promising it will be fixed "tomorrow," falls far below those expectations. I've now had to go out of my way to use the Fallbrook location because Woodland Hills is unable to provide a basic amenity. Woodland Hills is my home gym, and I shouldn't have to drive to another location just to take a proper shower after my workout. I've been a loyal member for a long time, but this situation is making me seriously consider canceling my membership. Two weeks without hot water, combined with repeated inaccurate updates, is simply unacceptable. Please resolve this issue immediately and communicate honestly with your members about when the repairs will actually be completed. It's time to get this together

The interaction itself also came across in a way that made me feel like my time and appointment were not valued as dismissive and unprofessional, rather than solution-oriented or apologetic. Terry was my initial point of contact, I am unsure why an appointment would be scheduled at a time when there was no staff available to actually conduct the tour. Overall, this was a complete waste of my valuable time and a very poor first impression.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I have to chime in. Hearing a response from the owner…read moreis one thing, but hearing it from a customer is another. And I would like to address some of the things said. I have been a member of Flex for about a year and a half now. In my opinion, it's the best in the valley. I tried 24 hr fitness - multiple women in the locker room had their lockers broken into, wallets and keys stolen. A member told me the bathroom upstairs and locker room are always "gross" (and they were). The gym floor was also gross, and nothing was ever put back in place I had a membership at LA Fitness. It was alright. Not the cleanest, nothing was ever put back, and the equipment isn't the best First off, the only reason I'm giving 4 and not 5 stars, is the hours of operation. I wish they were open later every day, and earlier on Sundays. Why I love Flex: 1. The machines. Someone said the machines are old, which is WILD, because they're not... they actually have a ton of new machines (some as new as this year). And they have machines you will not find at most gym. Examples: reverse hyper, bootybuilder hip thrust machine, belt squat machine, pendulum squat, 3 different hack squat machines, seated straight leg calf machine, arsenal strength shoulder machines, power racks, deadlift jack, prowler/sled, tires, heavy bags, and cable attachments such as MAG grip cable attachments... It's the cleanest gym in the valley that I've been to. I had a membership to ZOO Culture before they moved, have been a member at La fitness, and tried a guest pass to 24 (two separate times... the second because they said things improved and to give them another chance)... anyway, Flex has cleaning staff working all the time. And people walking around re-racking weights (although most members are good about doing it themselves). One person said the gym is disgusting and they're afraid to step foot in the shower or steam room... which is just silly. I've showered there numerous times. It's clean. Just bring your own stuff (body wash, shampoo, etc).. and there is no steam room lol there is a sauna. And the sauna is always clean Someone said equipment stays broken for weeks and I have no idea what they're talking about. I train 4-5X/week and don't even know what equipment they're talking about being broken. I think they wrote a comment for the wrong gym, honestly, because nothing they said makes sense. I saw a complaint about the trainer with the orange truck... he's intense, but if you actually talk to him, he's very nice. And always willing to let you work in, if he's using a machine you want to use. If he "takes" a machine you were using, just talk to him. It's possible he didn't know, and it wasn't purposeful I've also seen complaints about the owners, and I've had 0 issues with either of them. Quite the opposite. They're always friendly and pleasant
