The door is clear glass so don't walk into it! as I almost did. loI I was greeted by Gabi and Abi at the counter who were super friendly, helpful, with a big huge smiles. I came to Schweiger because I really didn't want to drive to the city to see a derm, and Schweiger Dermatology was recommended by about 300 ppl in a fb group. Now I know why; Dr. Yael Pinn was amazing. She took care of removing 2 of my moles, and I didn't feel anything. She was really quick and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She even gave me a compliment and told me I am young.... (but I might be older than her as she looks pretty young). In the treatment room, Jessica was really helpful and made sure I understood everything that was happening. She was there to answer any questions I had. Booking appointments online was super easy, which made the whole process a lot smoother for me and actually the real reason why I came to Schweiger. They were listed on ZocDoc which is a site I love to use for finding good doctors in the area who accept your insurance instead of calling 30 offices. Overall, my experience at Schweiger Dermatology was great. The staff is friendly, the doctors are skilled, and I felt well taken care of. I'll definitely be going back for any future skin care needs. I will post a photo of clear skin after I remove the bandage, but seriously there was no pain, and it was sort of fun! I heard she also offers Botox and other cosmetic treatments you can check out.

(I checked in several times to see what was taking so long) It was clear they had made a mistake, perhaps the PA (Anita Fox) had left. Instead of being apologetic at all they had us see a PA that was their and available. (Jennifer Sala) She completely disregarded my concerns. When I tried to ask about getting a biopsy the doctor said they don't use any numbing agent in front of my 7 year old daughter, clearly making her very upset. What dermatologist doesn't use any numbing when taking a biopsy. Would never suggest going her unless you like waiting and are into pain.

Now I see his daughter Dr Heidi who does more fun stuff like botox for me and now checks my skin (and found a melanoma on me!) She's very detailed in her examination and in the way she explains your condition and ultimately the treatment. She takes her time and talks to you like you are more than a patient. "Like Family". Her care doesn't end at the office, she follows up with you to make sure everything is going well through every phase of the treatment. She's like the Britannica of Dermatology, literally. My issue began in 2020 at age 22; I started to notice a slight increase in pimples (my guess is due to a rise in stress levels). Then, in 2021--soon after I began taking Whey Protein and overusing products in response to the increase in pimples--LOTS of little flesh colored bumps began to appear on my face. There were too many of them to control, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Goldwasser. I told her everything that had been going on and what I had been doing, which she recorded, and in response gave me very knowledgeable/helpful feedback. She knew right away what she was looking at on my face: Comedonal Acne. Warning me that it would take some time, she promised that she would transform my skin, writing a plan out that included some diet advice and great product advice. Her promise speaks through my after photo, which you should see for yourself attached, as I am so happy! The Skin Centre has its own doors (so no communal doors and trying to find suite #4). Lots of parking. The waiting room surprisingly small, but has about 7 chairs. It's clean, open, and gets lots of sunshine. The receptionist is friendly and takes care of things quickly. The patient rooms have really cool chairs. These chairs are electronically adjustable and can go all the way flat, up to almost chest height or down to the ground. Had lots of fun playing elevator w/ my baby on these chairs while we were waiting (shhhhh). We saw Dr. Abdulla (who was recommended by our pediatrician). She was very friendly, very practical, and great at explaining things. The wait time wasn't too bad (maybe 10-15 mins) and she seemed very sure of herself and of her diagnosis. I was happy at how flexible the office was to squeeze us in on a Saturday when we called on Monday. Also - they were able to squeeze me in there too, saving me a second trip the next weekend. Overall, I think this is a nice and friendly place to go for all your dermatologist needs. And instead of writing a prescription, the Dr. prefers to get the address/number/general location of your pharmacy so she can call in the prescription directly. Since…read moreFebruary, I have been having several worsening and worrying symptoms, one of which was skin related. I finally called to schedule to get into the office, which was recommended to me, and got in within 2 weeks, pretty reasonable. I go and see Simone and she immediately starts telling me her thoughts about what's going on, does a punch biopsy, and orders outrageously thorough blood work. She was thoughtful in her explanations, listened and answered my questions thoughtfully, and gave me great next steps. The blood work came back, and thanks to Simone, I now know what's happening to me. What has been happening to me since I was 12 (2 decades of symptoms!). No doctor has ever tested me for what she tested and to say I am grateful for her expertise, knowledge, and outside of scope thinking is an understatement. I'm now getting on a treatment plan that should help clear up all of my symptoms within the next few months hopefully. I owe so much to this office now and cannot recommend them enough. I am 61 and am trying to take care of my skin since having skin cancer surgery. I am very…read moredisappointed with the level of care at the Dermatology Center of Rockland. Dr. Fogelman does a poor job of examining me, and simply asks if I notice anything. He does not look at my breasts or backside, nor does he use any type of lights to examine which I have seen used in other practices. He would not give me his opinion on my surgery site and the doctor that performed it would not take two minutes to look at it even though I was told she would when I made the appointment. I have to go every six months because of the cancer and I live an hour away. Customer service had told me that the doctor. Who performed my surgery would take a quick look while I was having my six month check up and she refused. I recently had something cut off and I could not get anyone on the phone to discuss the biopsy. I ended up figuring how to use the portal and I found the report on there. But I had called and left a message three times to have someone call me with the results and I never got a call. Many of their patients are older and they need to be cognizant of the fact that not everyone can go in to find results on a portal. Overall I am very disappointed and it is sad to me that as we age we cannot find good doctors that are willing to give us the time and respect that we need.
