We had streetside cater our company summer picnic a few weeks back. Desmond was helpful from our first interaction to the final follow up. He kept in contact with me and was extremely helpful and flexible deciding how much to order, when to drop off and the food options. It rained the day we planned to have the picnic and Desmond was flexible enough to deliver it the following day (rain date). Not only am I happy with the service provided but the food was also top notch. We ordered pulled chicken, sliced brisket, potato salad, baked beans and smoked veggies. He even allowed us to swap out a dessert for an extra side! Do not miss the smoked veggies they were AMAZING! Pricing is extremely reasonable and he includes set up in his prices which is super helpful. Recently went to an event catered by Streetside BBQ, YUM! I'll start by saying, that I'm spoiled with great BBQ at home (the husband, not me), so often I'm underwhelmed whenever I have BBQ out. Not only was I really impressed with the flavor of the meats, but my husband was also - and that's saying a whole lot!! I had the pulled pork and ribs, both were delish! I didn't get a chance to try the brisket - but my husband did, and he had nothing but good things to say. The sides were good too ... I'm normally not a potato salad girl (at all), but it looked so pretty (not the normal old school bright yellow look) that I had to give it a try!!! It was delish, so maybe I'm a potato salad girl after all (or maybe I just liked the look and taste of streetside's PS), who knows?!? On to my fave part of any meal - DESSERT! Absolutely loved the banana pudding shooters... Perfect portion controlled size of yummy banana pudding goodness. My only regret: not knowing about Streetside sooner, b/c I totally would have / should have used them for our last catered event (my son's baby dedication) ... Communication was good, food was great. They delivered and set up on time. It was just for a luncheon at my house. Ordered food for 15 people, there was more than enough food for everyone and we had left overs. The banana pudding was great, I wish it was served in solo portions like I read on previous reviews, it wasn't but that was ok. We used Streetside BBQ for our recent wedding rehearsal dinner at a park near where me and my now husband first met. Demond was more than accommodating. He set up the buffet with the most amazing BBQ that we have had in a long time and came back to break down the setup. This not only made for easy cleanup but also for a more relaxing dinner. Now about the food....It was amazing! The RIbs are spot on...Just the right amount of tug, the rub and sauce exceeded our expectations. Also, as a tri tip and brisket lover, they were also both smoked and barbecued to perfection. The sides were also just as delish. We got the smoked veggies, baked beans, corn on the cob and banana pudding for dessert. I would highly recommend every item that was on our menu. Over all, great service, quality of food and price! I ordered from Streetside BBQ for a business meeting about a month ago. I have a group of BIG eaters and often find it difficult to select caterers who give portions that are large enough, but Streetside delivered! The portions were large and the food was phenominal. For this event, we ordered the pulled pork, hotdogs and hamburgers. My only complaint with the food is that about half of the hamburgers we received were badly overcooked so my group didn't eat them. We hired Demond site unseen based on the yelp reviews here and he delivered! Coming from out of town, we didn't get a chance to try any of the food out, but we were holding a pool party for about 30 people and Demond was able to help us choose the appropriate amount of food to make sure no one left our event hungry. Anyway, the food we got, a 1/2 tray of mac & chese, 1/2 tray of baked beans and potato salad... totally gone! The brisket, tri tip and chicken wings were awesome... only a few pieces left! I highly recommend making sure you dip them in the sauce. We had a few less people show up to the event but so we barely made a dent in the pork ribs! But we ended up cutting the ribs off the bone and eating it the next few days in various other dishes and man was that smoked meat yummy! The banana pudding was a hit and nicely sized for individual portions... wish we ordered more of that, even though people were full they wanted more! I came upon this caterer by accident, as I was a plus one to a family BBQ but what I didn't know is how I was preordained for such spectacular BBQ. As soon as I saw the smoker being lifted out of the truck, I knew it was going to be a good day. I also had the pleasure of spending some time with the owner (aka eyeing his 12 hours smoked brisket while he cut it) and you can tell he really has a passion for it and I believe that's what makes the difference. You've got to love your BBQ. The ribs were AMAZING and I didn't even NEED the delicious sauce that was prepared but I indulged anyway. I would go there again and again. Wow. The best BBQ I have had in a long time. That is what my guest were saying at my baby's birthday party. We had a Birthday/BBQ party at our farm this weekend in Ottsville PA and Demond was the best! He not only cooked great food but he always answered my questions and made the day perfect. We used Streetside BBQ to cater a "sip and see" party for our closest family and friends to meet our brand new baby girl for the first time. As you can imagine for such a special event our expectations were very high and Streetside BBQ met and exceeded them all. We planned the event from very long distance and between a newborn baby and a husband with long work hours we didn't have a lot of time to be very hands on with the planning. We put a lot of trust into Streetside BBQ to execute everything flawlessly with just a little input from us which they did. From the initial menu planning, to the set up, to the food service to cleaning the final dish, Demond was extremely professional, efficient, and his service was superb. He made the whole experience very easy for us and we were able to focus on our guests and the celebration which was wonderful. On top of everything else, the food was delicious! It's one thing to plan a great party but the food and drink is what really makes an event (outside of the special people we shared the event with of course). All of our guests raved about the food and the praise was well deserved. He even went out of his way to make little mini pecan pie tarts which were perfect the perfect touch to our afternoon sip and see! It's not something that we originally asked for and we greatly appreciated his creativity in turning an every day dessert into something special! Many of our guests were vegetarians and he provided hearty food options for them as well. His menu has a lot of great options that can be tailor made to your preferences quite well.
