Very disappointed in the unprofessionalism and how uncomfortable we were made to feel during the…read moreroad test. I went with my niece because her mother recently passed away and her father was at work. As a bystander, I was yelled at for taking a picture from a picnic table off in the distance while she was parking. Not asked to not do it, but scolded. The picture was for her proud dad that couldn't be there. I apologized and put my phone down, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to take a picture. I also still can't find anything about it on their website and I did not sign anything saying I would not take any pictures as a bystander. I was there with my 18yr old adult niece as she was trying to take her test. He immediately failed her after. Coincidence? As a professional myself, the situation could have been handled differently. We are booking a retake through a different company and I would recommend this one to no one, and will make sure not to schedule my teenager through this business for his road test.

He did not appear to make any effort to ease my child's nerves, which are quite normal for any teen doing a road test. I have had two other children already complete road tests with two other companies and I was extremely disappointed in the testing atmosphere provided by Roadmaster. Robin & Mark who operate the business were terrific to work with. Robin was efficient and professional regarding scheduling the test and Mark was equally polite and professional in administering the road test. The cost of the test was very competitive with other companies offering the same service. I do know that they also offer testing for other licensing such as CDL's. I highly recommend Mark & Robin's business if you live near Mancelona or Kalkaska, MI. I live in Traverse City and would recommend making the drive Kalkaska.
