The flavors were completely ruined, and we couldn't even enjoy the food properly. Using cheap paper boxes for this kind of meal is a terrible idea. I only knew about this place because someone gave a recommendation on Nextdoor. This part of Falbrook is beginning to a street food Mecca. Last year, there was only the taco stand. Now, it's expanded to about 6-7 different vendors. Greatest thing is that there's ample parking. Now on to the food. They only have about 5 dishes and they are all cooked to order. I asked the woman working there what her favorite was and she said the chicken thighs. So I ordered that and then decided to also order the Kobide. Total came out to $33 with tax. They accept cash, Venmo and Zelle. It took about 10-12 minutes for the kababs to be cooked on the open fire. They have some tables that is under a tent for you to enjoy the food there or you can take it home. Took it home and both the Kobide and chicken was tender and juicy. I was kind of surprised because I've had kabobs from actual restaurants and they are not as juicy and tender like these. Especially the chicken. Most of the time both meats are dry and hard to take down. I think the marinade could use a little more seasoning. But it was still tasty. The rice was nice and fluffy and I taste some butter in it. The Kobide did have a slight gaminess to it. I'm not sure if there's lamb in it or not, but I can definitely taste it. But it's still not overly gamey. The tomato was juicy and the roasted pepper has a slight kick but not spicy. I even had ate the chicken the next day and it was still juicy and the rice still fluffy. I actually think it actually tasted better the next day. At $15 each, I will definitely come back here again. read more

Very disappointing experience at Street Kebab. This was my first time visiting. I placed my order, paid in full, and was told my food would be ready in about 10 minutes. After waiting around 15 minutes, I walked back toward the counter to check on my order. As soon as the employee saw me, she turned to another worker and said, "Can you please put her kebab on the grill?" At that point, it was obvious my order had been completely forgotten and hadn't even been started. When I asked if she had forgotten about my order, she replied, "Yeah, I had customers." The problem is that there were no customers at the time, and instead of apologizing for the mistake, she responded dismissively. What made the experience even worse was the lack of attention to hygiene. I observed the employee handling money, pens, papers, and other items with the same gloves she was using to prepare food and work on the grill. Watching someone switch between handling non-food items and food preparation without changing gloves was concerning and did not inspire confidence in the cleanliness of the food handling practices. Everyone makes mistakes, but good customer service means taking responsibility and apologizing when an order is overlooked. Instead, I felt brushed off and disrespected. Between the forgotten order, the poor response, and the questionable hygiene practices I observed, I decided to request a refund and leave. Came to this spot after the gym! Honestly the best Kobide wrap I've had in the area. The serving size was big and might even be good enough for two.
