We had a great time cruising down the river on the boat, and NO peddling is required! The boat fits 16 and we were comfortable with our group of 10. Our guides were awesome, blasted tunes for us and pointed out historical landmarks as we passed them on the river and gave us the history of those points. I looked at booking the larger pontoon saloon also, but ultimately I am VERY glad we went with River Queen instead. The saloon boat was jam packed with 3-4 different groups of 10+ people. Our bride-to-be loves running, so when we learned there was a running tour of Nashville, we knew we'd found the perfect "non-drinking" activity of the weekend, because let's be serious, they don't call this city Nashvegas for nothing... Angie and Shelly met us at our hotel, and brought the cutest pink and white tutu and a veil for the bride to wear, along with matching bandanas for the rest of us! They took us all over downtown, at a very manageable pace that everyone could keep up with, and built in plenty of stops along the way- Broadway, 2nd ave, country music hall of fame and walk of fame, bicentennial park and the downtown farmers market, just to name a few. We covered about 3.5 miles and saw so much! The running tour had a built in scavenger hunt for the bride-to-be, and ended with a cupcake for the her at one of the stalls in the farmer's market! I'd highly recommend booking a running tour for a bachelor or bachelorette party, or even a girl's weekend or family weekend in Nashville. Pro tip- it's a great way to sweat out all those "toxins" from a night out on Broadway.
