We stopped by La Victoria's Delicatessen to grab some food and ended up ordering two burritos--one…read morechicken and one carnitas--which came out to about $22. Not too bad at all considering how large and delicious they were. Both were filling, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One thing I did wish is that they offered tacos and quesadillas, as that would really round out the menu. It was clear, though, that tamales are the star here--there was a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up previously ordered trays, which says a lot. My family and I also picked up some pan dulce, which was great. Prices weren't listed on any menu's but we're guessing around $1.50-$2.00 each, which felt reasonable. Service was friendly and welcoming from the two ladies working behind the counter. You can tell this business is well respected in the neighborhood, even though it's in a bit of a rough area. Parking can be limited, so keep that in mind. Overall, solid food, fair prices, and a local spot worth supporting. Would definitely return!

I purchased one "concha" and one "elote" and both were dry, flavorless and appeared to be "day old". Which was strange because the concha I got from a bread cooling rack thinking it was fresh but it definitely was not. I took one bite of each and unfortunately ended up throwing it all away. How sad.

Everything is made fresh to order, but they currently only have one crepe pan so expect a bit of a wait since they can only make one by one, with parties generally ordering more than just one at a time. The Cheesecake Crepe has strawberries and nutella inside with a slice of cheesecake on top and is finished off with nutella drizzle, a tiny bit of strawberry syrup, powdered sugar and a dollop of whipped cream. The strawberries are so fresh, there is no shortage of nutella and the cheesecake was good, seems to be a store-bought cheesecake so nothing major to write home about but also nothing to complain about. The star of the show is definitely the actual crepe batter itself, it's thin while still having a nice bounce and chew to it and the flavor of the crepe has a faint aroma of vanilla which I loved. It paired perfectly with the sweetness of the nutella, but don't get me wrong, the entire thing is still on the sweeter side but is overall a great dessert. I genuinely think if they offered it at a lower price I would personally just get a crepe with strawberries and nutella inside and that's it. I don't need all that extra drizzle and sugar because the crepe itself is that good. The Dubai Crepe has strawberries, nutella and pistachio cream inside and is topped with more nutella, pistachio cream, kataifi, actual pistachios and a dollop of whipped cream as well. When eating I actually thought it was chocolate, not nutella which was great! The pistachio cream they use is GOOD quality, it was creamy and rich without losing any of the actual pistachio flavor. You could tell it wasn't that cheap pistachio cream which I appreciated! Again not skimpy at all with the strawberries and the crepe batter was divine! Highly recommend. I also got the Dubai Strawberry Cup which came with a huge cup of strawberries covered in nutella, pistachio cream, pistachios and kataifi. This tasted like the Dubai Crepe but without the crepe, fresh strawberries again as usual! Service was great, and it's in the same lot as Tacos a La Leña too. Definitely coming back

Review 1,108 Posted on 9.13.26…read more We came to Maison after arriving at Appellation Spa & resort on Saturday August 29th when coming for our anniversary. Maison is on the grounds near the main roadway that Appellation is on. They've got a bakery here, as well as a wine bar of sorts connected to it. The bread here is so fresh, soft, & good. We ended up getting 2 fresh loafs to bring back home. You can take your food and coffee and sit out back or out front. Tons of people I think stop in here to hang and get a quick bite and just sit outside and enjoy the weather and people watch. Nice place to hang.

My girlfriend and I stopped by Maison Lodi for lunch before spending the afternoon in town, and as…read moreusual, it did not disappoint. We both ordered the prime rib sandwich. I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.
