Its like going into a 5 star restaurant, ordering a burger and then complaining about the prices because Mcdonalds sells theirs for $1. The ladies that work there, treat it as an art form. My sister and I spent a day in Galena shopping and this was our favorite store. It offers a wide variety of clothing to suit the tastes of most women. It had some things for younger women, but not juniors. I liked that the styles were fresh and didn't seem for just 'older' women. The woman that was working that day really knew the merchandise and was able to help us try things we ended up loving, but wouldn't have picked out on our own. I had purchased a pair of shoes from the sale area and made the mistake of not noticing that there was a sign posted with "no returns" on the shelf where I had found the shoes. I returned the next morning and the salesperson told me that they didn't do returns on the sale items. However, she was kind enough to hear my story and asked if I had worn the shoes on the street. I told her that I only made it as far as the elevator of the hotel and found that the right shoe was slipping off of my foot. I wear orthotics and made the rookie mistake of not walking around with both shoes on and the orthotics in. Lisa was kind enough to let me know that we could work something out. I totally understood that I wouldn't get to do a straight return so I was pleased that she was more than willing to work with me on an exchange. I didn't have any luck finding a smaller size in the shoes that I had purchased but she really worked with me to find a pair that I liked and that fit well. She was the one to even suggest that I walk around the store for a period of time to make sure that the fit was right. The day before, I was shopping with my husband and didn't have a lot of time to really look at the store. Because I returned without him, I had some time to look around more thoroughly.
