But this shop had all sorts of wonderful quirky things. I did not get to spend as much time as I wanted- because we were in a hurry to get to the Berlin Wall memorial, but I hope to go back. They had great purses, kitchen items, key chains and jewelry, and home goods- for very decent prices- but more importantly, things were cute and quirky- so if you want a more original souvenir, this would be a good place to go. AND the people who work there speak wonderful English and are very helpful- which is very nice for English speaking people like me :-)

You can find candles, home decor stuff, paper weights and some small kitchen wares (bowls, colorful napkins,etc) they also have a clothing section with the basics: t shirts, blouses and scarves. We bought these awesome cocktail mixers (Ibiza and Strawberry colada -- just add alcohol) as souvenirs for our friends back home. It's compact and encased in glass so no need to worry about hand carrying it. I also bought some cute hand made jewelry for my cousin and her friend who were so generous to host a brunch for us at their home. Harmony, you made shopping such a pleasurable experience for this girl who hates to shop. Keep it up!

The staff was "in the process" of getting out of bed, unbelievably nasty, hostile and refused to answer questions asked in fluent yet accented German. The questions? Are you open? Can we come in? This is one of my favorite Depots and my first Depot. The shop located in the really nice location,…read moreright inside Potsdamer Platz Arkadan. The size of the shop is big enough. They offer from decoration sands, lights to bed sheets, kitchen stuff and so on. Compared with other decoration shops, I like the style from Depot better, they go with the elegant and simple style, but dare to use color, which is keep the products fun in the same time. Although it is a bit pricy, I think it is worth it. You could see the back of the shop from the entrance. It is really organized and neat, even it is your first time here, you will be able to get use to their system very soon. Near the entrance, there are the decorations of the festival or theme of the present season. In the middle are the common stuff, such as vases, sands boxes. At the right side of the back are the bed sheet and some towers sort of things. At the left side are the kitchen staff. There is a small discount area, I always will have a look there, cuz' sometime they have some good design and useful staff there. The one thing is the products of Depot are generally more expensive than other shops, probably not everyone willing to pay curtain things here. I think most of the products here are acceptable. If you have enough budgets and simply just want to pick up some elegant but not something over price, then this is the place you are looking for. Just go in have a look, staff there are quite friendly, they won't bite. Thus, I like this place very much, by many different reasons. This is the first Depot for me, it showed me how many cool and useful things I could find with this brand. They also offer free new letters and catalogs. I like to go there to get what I need and be inspired!
