Turned out to be an easy fix this time but JEFF figured it out quickly and did some trouble shooting for the future. Recommended installation of a new AC capacitor and explained benefits and cost. Did not feel pressured or forced to decide on the spot. Also discussed long term plan to replace whole system and what that would look like. JEFF provided estimates and costs were very reasonable compared to other local providers. Customer service rep, DORENE, made scheduling easy and got me in before my pets and I melted from the heat - lol! She was very pleasant and helpful throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend KOBELLA for HVAC, plumbing and all services they provide!! Great experience!! I won't use anyone else! KOBELLA rocks!

    We had an issue with our toilet. I was given a quote of 800 dollars to fix the toilet and 1000…read moredollars to replace the toilet. After the toilet had been replaced. I priced the toilet at toto plumbing supply and the cost of the toilet was less than 400 dollars. The plumbers were at my home for 2hrs and 5 minutes. The work was done properly and the workers were pleasant and professional; however, my wife and I felt the plumbers were more interested in generating income than having a longterm relationship with a satisfied customer. The charge to replace the toilet was about 300 dollars per hour. We felt that the fee was excessive.

The issue was a compressor motor that would not start. This was their quote: "During my evaluation I observed a failed start capacitor, both fuses in the electrical disconnect blown and a faulty control board. Once these components are replaced we will be able to continue our evaluation. There is no guarantee that the diagnosis is finished after these parts are replaced since we cannot check motor operation or refrigerant pressures at this time." Cap Compressor Saver CSRU-1 (1.5 to 3 ton) $341 Replace Buss Cartridge Fuse 25 Amp (2) $170 Service Department Matrix Repair $300 Service Department Matrix Repair $800 This work was a female relative and I advised her that this was BS. I'm a tech but not AC tech and I knew this was trash. Two other non-AC techs had the same opinion and we all point to the capacitor. In the end the fuses are easy to check and they were not bad. Replacement fuses cost $5 each. A replacement capacitor is $8. We repaired it at the cost of $8 because the capacitor was the only bad part. PK Wadsworth was attempting to sell her a new AC system and that could have been their ultimate goal. If not they were trying to outrageously overcharge for parts and replace things (or say they replaced) that were not defective. How these folks got an A+ rating I will never know. My advise is to steer clear of this company.

    We bought our AC unit from DeAngelis 2 years ago. This last week we found out from first energy…read moreour power grid was compromised 3 times over a 3 day period (animals twice getting into underground wires). The aftermath was our AC unit was knocked out of phase and just sounded terrible! We called DeAngelis as we were unaware of the power problems and they were amazing sending out very professional and courteous techs to investigate. They said they would 'stay' until we figure this out even though, as I said, the issue actually was power/grid related. The front office staff (Angela) responded immediately and was beyond cordial. The owner (Chris) also called to try to help fix an issue which turned out to be nothing to do with the unit after all. But what a mess for 3 days..... we were all stumped. This is the type of company you want to do business with. They stick with you and want nothing more than to fix the issue. And they never even charged us for two visits. I can't say enough about them and their customer service - an art that is lost on so many contractors these days! Use them. You won't regret it.

    Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. Unbelievable. But I thought I must clarify to Sal's reply. Thanks Sal for your prompt response. But, isn't that a courteous way to ask ? - "You might want to wear a mask". He saw I was wearing one and he was entering my residence. Yes, I could have insisted but I think that is rude. Secondly, my complaint was "gas leak" and hence, the request to send someone from your company. I am not disputing any diagnosis. I just placed it before you, so it doesn't happen again.. I don't want any money back either. Service was rendered and I accept your company's policy. However, I thank the reception desk for immediately scheduling the appointment the same day. It was highly professional, including the update they followed up with. I commend you for that. Anyways, thanks for your immediate response. Much appreciated

Sals heating has been working on our boiler system since 10/20/25. From 10/20/2025 till 1/2026 Sals has charged us 6,102.00 On 2/10/2026 we were presented with two more estimates: 1) 3,627.00 for further repairs . 2) 18,180.00 total replacement of Boiler It is my fear that they feel an additional 3,627.00 will not fix the boiler in entirety so they included an estimate of full replacement of system. 2) Replacement of boiler system in its entirety: 18,180.00 We have moved on and will not be using Sals service for any additional repairs/work This matter will appear on your website reviews and am submitting to the BBB
