I'm in the middle of having an addition added. I signed the original contract in December and permits were secured in January. They did not start the construction on the project until April when the deck was removed. It is now mid September and I'm still waiting for the deck to be rebuilt. A few of the subcontractors have been great. A few have not. For the ones that are not, I keep getting excuses as to why they don't show up on site. Currently the deck guys have so many jobs going on that I haven't seen them in almost 2 weeks. I chose BLM because I thought they would be the best choice but if the subs have so many jobs in the works and don't finish one before starting the next then how is this responsible project management?

Terrible experience! We waited months for BLM to do the work on our home. After 3 walk-throughs,…read moreBLM brought in a contractor I'd never met to do the work. After a brief tour of our home, this contractor (who was from Bleeker, not BLM) wanted to dilute 90% of the work that was agreed upon in our contract. While the work he planned to do in our home was getting smaller, the quote was not. Even after months of waiting, BLM still did not have some of the key supplies that were needed, which would cause even more delays for me and my family. After our 4th, and final, walk-through, I had to ask BLM to leave my property.

For the roof, Jason came out to see us within about a day of our calling, got back to us within 2 days with a quote, and we got onto their roofing schedule within 2 weeks of accepting their proposal. Tyler the owner is very hands on and was brought in when the roofers discovered that one of our exterior walls was total mush from mold and had to be replaced. Tyler gave us a quote on the spot for the needed repair, which we thought was very fair. All handled very professionally, and even with that hiccup the roofers were able to stay on schedule. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and how great our roof looks. Excellent clean up as well. Now we're looking forward to getting SEIPP out to put in our new deck!

Even though this isn't something they typically promote, they showed up without hesitation. They were timely, communicative, and incredibly professional. What stood out most was their willingness to help simply because someone in their community needed it. That kind of character, reliability, and care says a lot about the people behind the business.

Even an instance where he rang while I was in office and shouted at me over a misunderstanding that was not necessary for loud hostility. He would also show up on occasion unannounced with a bad attitude, demanding to inspect at his will and hurling demands/intimidation. Couldn't be bothered by certain repairs after paying increasing rent and fees each year. Also remarks about following Trump and how he disagrees with the opposing. Innapropriate commentary while conducting business with politics. As a multiracial family with children, would not recommend this company. Especially if you are not white. Kindness goes a long way as well as empathy. I feel for those on the wrong side of his business that have had to deal with that man in court. Sounds like a complete nightmare. Thankful to no longer do business with them.

It was a very "used car salesman" vibe from the beginning and my boyfriend and I should've known better. Red flags from the get go, like telling me we needed to sign in the next 3 days or he had to "build a whole house" and would take much longer. Despite telling T I wanted a fully custom bathroom, my original estimate was around 2500. After being roped in it was closer to eight. But this was the least of my issues. Completely inconsistent timing, "T" and "M" telling me so many lies they couldn't even keep up with each other. Showing up randomly, not showing up on days they said they would, and sometimes a complete lack of communication. In the end it looked okay... for a day or so. However now I have shifting tiles and messy groutwork in my mosaic bathroom. They also made a complete mess all over my house and left trash like open candy bars and McDonald's bags everywhere. Didn't clean up after themselves. I called complaining because not only did they NOT fill the holes in my drywall, but they didn't paint my radiator! Both of which I paid for!!!! The floor tile grout looks like crap now only a few weeks later. There were spacers left in it and it is stained? Probably because they busted a pipe in my sink and water exploded everywhere and they rushed to get it done when the floor was still wet. They never came back for detailing and let someone paint who left spots around the light fixture they installed. Didn't paint before they installed it... Why exactly? They sent someone to fix the pipes that were leaking after bathroom vanity was installed but I was told that Monday they would come and touch up the grout. Heard nothing from either of them, and then they blocked me on Facebook four days later. EDIT: The owner has contacted me and is coming to fix the messy work very soon.
