Since we couldn't go shopping because of our bikes, so we waited to dine in at the French restaurant Chez Renee a couple weeks later and afterwards we paid them a visit. Wow! This place looked small from the outside but when you step in, they have so many vinyl! I was like a kid in a candy store. They sell everything. Vinyl (new and used), cassettes, videos, vinyl accessories, record players and more. The vinyl is categorized in genre. Very organized and clean. My fiancée and I found some used vinyl in the $1.00 bin and on the racks. Plus we got a melted vinyl decor bowl for our home. I read on the sign that they have live bands that play here on occasion. I really love this place. It was fun vinyl hunting for unexpected treasures. What a great experience and highly recommend this place.

This place has so much to offer aside from a wide array of vinyls. They also have CD's, cassettes, DVDs, apparel, enamel pins, Pop Vinyl dolls, and lots more and all at great prices. If they had they're Mortal Kombat 2 arcade game turned on, I might've been tempted to stay all night. We left with a pretty big stack and a good portion of it was from their dollar bins up front. They are fairly new (I believe they've been opened for a year), but have a lot to offer. Their prices are set by 3 prices (for used records). -Red stickers are $5.00 -Yellow stickers are $10.00 -Green stickers are $15.00 Some are priced individually if they don't have colored stickers. Which is very reasonable. They have .50 cent and $3.00 bins on the bottom of the shelves which are in fairly good condition and nice selection. Left with a ton of $3.00 finds! The store itself is very organized, categorized, not cluttered and overstocked. Easy to maneuver and get around. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They don't have a listening station but willing to play a record if you want to test it out. They do sell used stereo equipment, CDs, cassettes, Newly pressed Vinyls, new record players, accessories, and T-shirt's with their logo. I'm so glad we stopped by. Crate digging was so much fun and left with a lot of great vinyls. Can't wait to go back!

Now first off, there are a lot of records here..a whole lot..they're completely stuffed into the bins that stretch up and down the length of the store. There is a huge amount to go through here. I would have to say that how stuffed all of these bins are with records makes it pretty difficult to browse. And if you're looking for anything past the 70's or 80's era..this isn't the place for you. The guy working there the day I was there..who I assume was the owner..was very personable and was quick to ask if I had come there because of their website or not. Apparently the store's website catalogues this plethora of vinyl and allows you to search for specific titles you may be looking for. He was very adamant about wanting to show me their site before I left so that I could know how to navigate through it and find any specific titles I was looking for in the future. I appreciated the info and it did seem to be a lot easier than trying to browse through this crazy collection. I still spent some time looking around and was able to find a title that I had been looking for. Prices here are on the higher end for used vinyl, but they really do put a lot of effort in only offering records in the most prestine condition. Most records are even graded on their condition and it's listed on the price tag. I was satisfied with my purchase, with the level of customer service I was provided (by someone who obviously know a whole lot about vinyl), and was impressed with the immense collection they had. I will definitely take the owner up on the option of searching their website for anything I might purchase here in the future. That way I can walk in and have my selections waiting for me..instead of having to search for hours to find records that they could have or not.

The owner is super into 45's and spent most of…read morethe 45 minutes I was there telling me story about buying and selling them, and about how he was recently robbed of several dozen rare ones. He apparently does 80% of his sales via his online store, and mostly sells the 45's. I hate flipping through 45's but there are a few rare ones I'm after, and lo and behold he had one and it was a reasonable price. I flipped through a bunch of the LPs there. Many of the shelves are so packed with records that you can't even physically flip through them, a huge pet peeve of mine. The LP stock is nearly all 50s-80s material, mostly in the classic rock, jazz and soul formats. He also said he would be selling the store and retiring soon, and that a new owner was buying all the LPs and opening a new record shop in the same location. It will be interesting to go back in a few months and see what's become of it under the new ownership. All in all a decent record shop. It didn't align with my tastes overall, but for those most interested in classic rock or old soul/R&B 45s, it's definitely worth a stop (or a search on their website).
