The gyros they served wasn't bad but also not up to proper standards. The fish was horrible and tasted like it was deep frozen. Worst was the plaice it tasted very watery and had no taste at all. I couldn't enjoy my dinner and am very disappointed in the restaurant. The good thing though was that the restaurant listened to our complaints and then didn't charge the full price. Overall disappointed in the restaurant and its food.

The steaks there were not good quality, but were edible. They tasted dry, but weren't too chewy. Sadly, most portions, including the gyros (which wasn't bad) came with too much extra salad and potatoes, but without any dressing. Overall, the food cannot be recommended, but the service was great. The service started off normally, but after we hadn't finished everything, they asked what was wrong with the food, and when we told them about the many flaws, they offered us a desert for free as well as digestifs. We refused the deserts, but gratefully accepted a nice 'obstler' (fruity digestif). In the end they didn't charge us for our drinks, but sadly the restaurant 'Zur Schlemmerpfanne' stays as a bad experience that I would recommend to anyone.

We decided to sit outside and enjoy a small lunch and beers. After a few minutes, a waitress declared in an unpleasant tone that her colleague was responsible for our table. After several more minutes, a waiter came outside and was ready to take our order. We didn't even have menus! He grabbed a few menus from a nearby table where people were seated, handed them to us and headed inside. Well, he never returned! After about 15 minutes of waiting and watching the unfriendly waitress walk around like she was doing everyone a favor - we left.
