The gyros they served wasn't bad but also not up to proper standards. The fish was horrible and tasted like it was deep frozen. Worst was the plaice it tasted very watery and had no taste at all. I couldn't enjoy my dinner and am very disappointed in the restaurant. The good thing though was that the restaurant listened to our complaints and then didn't charge the full price. The fish was fried and taken out of the freezer, not fresh as would be expected by the north sea. The fish tasted extremely watery and was absolutely disgusting. The steaks there were not good quality, but were edible. They tasted dry, but weren't too chewy. Sadly, most portions, including the gyros (which wasn't bad) came with too much extra salad and potatoes, but without any dressing. Overall, the food cannot be recommended, but the service was great. The service started off normally, but after we hadn't finished everything, they asked what was wrong with the food, and when we told them about the many flaws, they offered us a desert for free as well as digestifs. We refused the deserts, but gratefully accepted a nice 'obstler' (fruity digestif). In the end they didn't charge us for our drinks, but sadly the restaurant 'Zur Schlemmerpfanne' stays as a bad experience that I would recommend to anyone.
