DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS! The owner is a nasty person…read morewho will beat you out of your hard earned money!! If I could give negative 10 stars I would! I had a dishwasher on lay away and when I paid it off they delivered it. It didn't work. They didn't have another one in stock in black stainless so I waited, and waited. They finally sent another for me to "use" until they got a black stainless. This one also didn't work. After several visits from their "repairman", it still didn't clean. I had been communicating over the phone due to having had several broken bones, surgery and being in an out of the hospital. I trusted them to make things right. They got in a black stainless. I had a friend take me to their store and looked at it. They stated they still had to clean it and get it working right then they would deliver. They delivered then installed. The last thing he did was add a steel panel across the bottom to hide the underneath. I attempted to open the door but it only opened about 6" bc it got caught on the metal panel! I removed the panel so the door would open. It hadn't been touched. It was filthy all inside. I attempted to run a small load. It left everything dirty. I contacted them and told them I just wanted a refund to come get this dishwasher. I had dealt with them for far too long and went through too damn many dishwashers. It was ridiculous! They refused to refund my money or to get the dishwasher. This type of service is absolutely unacceptable! I lost over $400 on a dishwasher that did not work and had to turn around and buy a new one from Lowe's, which is what I wish I had done in the first place! These people are crooks!

The worst problem is the fact that the washer spin cycle barely works and the dryer doesn't dry worth a damn! I've been reading the reviews, they don't do refunds for selling defective equipment. Very shady place of business. It's ridiculous.

Listed under the name South Georgia Appliance, LLC, owned by someone who is a "regional manager" of…read morethis sham of a company. We purchased a used fridge for a home we currently reside in but plan to rent. After it arrived, we found issues including a terrible cigarette smoke smell. The ice even tasted like smoke. $50 more on a new filter, but no change, and then the fridge went out and all the food went bad. It was replaced with one that has had two service calls and now waiting on a third with no hope of getting my $$$ back. The service department seems sincere, but the salesman should really find a job that does not deal with people - any people. Please do not think you're getting a deal here. I'm out hundreds and will still be forced to purchase a new appliance.

Here is what WILL be my last update on Nationwide because I would rather have a root canal with no…read moredrugs than to deal with these people any longer. After not getting the promised 9:30am call on Thurs to tell me when the servicemen would be here, I called them at 10:30 and got the "its raining so we didnt call anybody since the guy is running late" BS. How stupid do they think we are? ITS RAINING? LOL!!! The OWNER of the company then asked me "how would YOU like to move washers and dryers on dollies in the rain all day?". Yeah, he's just as warm, friendly and helpful as the other 2 ladies I've had to deal with in the past. I honestly don't know which of the 3 are the most rude and unprofessional(and one has the WORST grammar I've heard in years). So, I called them at 5:28pm after waiting ALLLLLLLL day for the promised service person. I knew they were about to close b/c I had made the mistake before of waiting until they closed before and nobody showed up at all that day. So, I get a call at 9:00PM at night...yes, like after dinner and little kids are in bed 9 PM. It was the serviceman. He was very cordial and apologetic about it being so late. I asked if he was the same one I had spoken to earlier and he said "no"(I didnt think it was but wanted to be sure). He did get to my house and was extremely nice and helpful. He switched my non-wotking washer that had been serviced 4 times for the SAME PROBLEM by Nationwide(4 days I had to stay at home and wait for them...actually 5 days if you count the first one where nobody showed up). I told him I was sorry he was so nice and obviously hard-working and was stuck working for such rude, disrespectful people who are going to chock the life out of whatever business they may still have. He needs to start looking for a new job asap b/c Nationwide wont last, especially in this economy. If you cant even scrape up the manners to just be nice and to do what you say you're going to do, you are not going to be able to compete with the impersonal big box stores. At least with the box stores, I can get to SOMEBODY at the top who actually cares and wants my business. Forget that happening with Nationwide. It is a family owned and operated biz for the most part so complaining to the"top" will NOT do any good unless you enjoy being berated by the person you just gave a few hundred dollars to. Not a favorite pastime for me. We wont be back and counting THIS site, I believe I'm up to 5 review websites that local Valdosta ppl use letting everyone know exactly how Nationwide has treated us. Also, the word of mouth will spread as we are both in the service biz and see lots of ppl each day and love giving heads up on where to go for good service and where to avoid...like the plague. Nationwide's service is the plague.

I hate the thought of complaint with an online review nut there's a first time for everything and…read morethis one's worth it since no one else has the full authority to help. bought a brand new washer earlier this month with 5 year warranty. Sales person informed us that the delivery driver would call with an hour notice before delivery and install and that unit was in stock and ready to go and would be delivered within 3 days. Two days later we get a phone call, washer won't be available until almost a week later. Delayed wry day comes, I'm up town and third party delivery calls my wife and says, " I'll be there in 10". He comes and drops it off, tells my wife that there's an installation charge for him to hook it up which we never heard anything about, plus it's a simple hook up. He starts a wash on the unit, gives my wife the instructions to let that finish and drain and then we're good to go. The washer wouldn't drain. We tried a couple loads to make sure, and the washer wouldn't drain unless you switched to a different cycle after the first cycle is finished, and then it didn't spin well, clothes were still soaked. I called Lowe's and after a couple hours of being sent back and forth my call was redirected to square one. So I hung up and came back later to try again, then someone had updated my account to where my order number was past exchange date, so then I couldn't even get anyone on the phone. So we drive up to Lowe's Valdosta, Ga location and speak to help desk and management, they alone were very kind and helpful to the extent they could be. They finally directed me to call the manufacturer GE appliances because we were past our 48 hour return that we were never made aware of. So I called GE, long story short, they wouldn't replace the brand new washer we'd just paid for and bought a warranty for but they'd repair it, which I voiced my dissatisfaction with being that Lowe's was quick to sell us a warranty and take the money out of my account for this brand new washer. The process with the manufacturer took about 3 hours in total. It's been 3 weeks no washer and family of four. Another third party service tech came today on behalf of GE, says the board is messed up so their process is that they have to order that part then come and repair. All this being said, Ive never had such a run around before after purchasing a brand new product from someone, and honestly any respectful owner, upper management, customer relations should be ashamed of this system. Everyone blames everyone blames everyone. No one owes you anything and redirects you to the next. I'm sure if i get any feedback on this review, it'll state something about how their policy works and what they've been told from their upper management from there upper management and so on. I'd write this for GE, but I purchased the unit from Lowes, Valdosta, so it should be their problem not mine.

When the tech came out - I explained exactly what I wanted and he checked out all my major appliances and I saw him check the information plate on the AC unit. Then he told me that the generator that I was considering buying was the size that I needed to run everything. I paid him and he left. A few days after my generator arrived - a different tech came out and installed it and he also told me that it would run the whole house. The installation was ok by the way. A few days ago we experienced a Hurricane and I started the generator as soon as we lost power and - low and behold - the generator ran everything in the house EXCEPT THE AIR CONDITIONER. So I sat here totally miserable and soaked with sweat for two and a half days. I called the company and complained and the boss apologized - but I am still setting here with the wrong size generator. He told me to either buy a bigger generator or buy one of the small room size AC units. I will never deal with these people again and I strongly advise other people to think long and hard before hiring them.

We never got the garbage disposal connection, they basically did what they wanted and it took them 6 weeks. There were shorts in the connections and more issues. we turned the power off to mount our ceiling fans and my husband got an electrical charge because there was power to that room.
