Unfortunately my experience with this branch was not positive. When I went into the showroom to…read morehave an initial look round, the first man was quite helpful and gave me his business card. I then used the website to configure a car and emailed him with a couple of questions, I didn't get a proper response to my first question so email him directly back and didn't get a response. After a number of weeks I rang the showroom to clarify and was invited to make an appointment to talk through - I attended this 3 days ago. I had an Audi as a company car for the last 7 years but this was a personal purchase for a new car. The Salesman made no attempt to highlight the benefit of Audi or the model I was after and seemed disinterested, even though I stated that I was after a new car. I had every intention of ordering my car during that appointment but when he said the configuration would take some time to go through, I was so disappointed with the whole experience I left without making the purchase. I have more seriously now started to look at a Vauxhall model. Not sure what they get commission on but it doesn't seem to be using and following up on leads.

Unfortunately the car developed an unforeseen fault after a couple of weeks. It wasn't anything that could have been predicted or found in an inspection or service, so just unlucky there and that's why it's so important to have a good car dealer!. I called Kev and he got my car into his garage guys. Turned out to be a bit complicated and ended up with a fair amount of work being needed. Since it was all to do with the fuel system and/or the engine you'd have thought my 3 month RAC guarantee would have covered it! But the RAC refused all claims as not being covered, so 0 stars for them! But A1 Car Search paid for everything, including taking the car to a Toyota garage for one procedure and also getting a tool specialist in when an obstinate part couldn't be removed. It didn't cost me a penny, although I know Kev shelled out a fair amount. I love my Rav and I'd recommend A1 Car Search to anyone who wants peace of mind when buying a second-hand car.
