Not a good learning environment or a place to make friends. Several times a week they have a disgusting gas leak that hurts your sinuses, yet they do nothing about it. This school does not have the amount of funding to keep up with the number of students that attend SMFHS. The classes are either completely stupid or ridiculously difficult, and the kids here are super cliquey and rude, but that's just public schools. The school caters to the mediocre people and take only the majority into consideration, rather than taking the time to help each student out. They are lazy and inefficient when you ask for information about the online programs, giving you the "go look on the website" answer, and the website isn't very navigable. The only upside to this school is that since there are many people who attend the school, you have a better chance at making friends. It is also rated higher than any of the other open enrollment schools within the area. All in all, I would not recommend sending your kid here. It's one of those schools that you either love it or hate it. Definitely not my cup of tea. read more
