Corrie made two (free) trips to our driveway in the snow to get the info needed to replace our B&S engine on my log splitter. Ordered the right engine, came out a third time, replaced the engine on the spot. To my amazement, new engine started on first pull and splitter worked like a champ. Owner Corey has a terrible attitude. He promises to call you with a date of when he can fix your mower and you never hear from him. He came by to service our mowers and one won't run after his service. I cannot get him to come by to look at it AGAIN. He says he won't stand for rudeness from a customer well the customers are tired of dealing with your rudeness. Maybe you are the only one working there because you do not know how to talk to people. He was very mad at the fact that I text him. He said texting is for parents to reach their kids. What year is he living in? Texting is the way of the world there Corey. I do NOT recommend using this guy for anything. He has zero customer relation skills. You got this review because it's the truth and you are rude just like the rest of your reviews say. The value of this business is 0. Never again will we use Stouffers Mobile Mower Now, after he read the above review he calls me and says he's coming to look at the mower he previously serviced. It took my review to get him to call me to do service that he promised to call about last week. If you can avoid using this business I would do it at all costs. He's not very nice!!! His reply is that of a typical business that has been called out on social media. If he would stay off here trying to defend all his bad reviews he might get some customers satisfied, but he is too worried about what people are saying. WHY is he worried?!?! read more

My lawn tractor was picked up for its annual servicing, the pickup was done on schedule. The service was done in a reasonable time for a good price. The process was done easily and smoothly. Will use them for any of my lawn equipment/small engine repairs in the future. read more

Instead of addressing the issues raised during the initial review, work not being completed, product being returned in pieces, lack of communication without being initiated by the customer, the owner has replied with name calling and continuing to push the lie that he did not state the work would be completed, to my wife on a phone call on 5/19/23, either that day or the following. Another falsehoods being pushed is that I arrived while the business was closed. The hours of operation on both the business website and physical location, at the time of the incident, both stated that the business was open. The owner states that it takes nothing to be kind, while refusing an apology and in fact walking away, albeit on a phone call, leaving his wife to push my mower out and bring the multiple disassembled parts to me, for a very brief moment of emotion following the loss of a family member. It also takes nothing to be compassionate and understanding of your customers and acknowledging when someone has attempted to apologize. However, what does require "brain cells" is how to effectively plan out work for customers and provide updates on delays, both in and out of your control. The customer should never need to wait for weeks on end for information that can be shared with a short phone call, communication is key. It is also not a customers fault that a business is overbooked when that business controls their own bookings. I would advise that the owner look into their customer service practices, advertisement of hours, and booking procedures as these areas are sorely lacking. I am not one to push the "customer is always right" line, but I do believe that a business should not use falsehoods, name calling, lack of communication, and poor planning as an excuse for being rude when presented with poor business practices. read more

I had to have my snowblower serviced. I contact Stouffer's, made an appointment to come to the house for the service, as I had no way of getting the snowblower to the shop. Cory called the day of service to let me know he was on his way. Cory was very nice, polite and professional. He serviced the snowblower, found a few things that needed attention and corrected them. Not only did he service the snowblower but gave me some great pointers on how to take care of the equipment, things that I never knew. Cory said if I had any question or concern to please let him know. The price of all this was very fair. I have no complaints and will do business with Stouffers in the future and would highly recommend them to my friends. Great customer service!! read more

Horrible service and rude. Definitely worth a read even through it is a long one. He had our mower for almost a month. We were always the ones to have to call down and ask when it was going to be finished. We never received updates of when or what was happening. We called on a Friday and he said the parts came in and he should be done with it today or Saturday. After not receiving a call we called on Tuesday when they opened. In the meantime, over the weekend my husband's Mother had passed away and we are now hosting a get together at our house with a lawn that hasn't been mowed for a month. My husband called and said "I need my damn mower back". The owner flipped out on him. Refused to do the work and said to come get it on Friday (the day of our memorial service). He went down to get it the second he hung up and caught him trying to leave the shop so he couldn't pick it up. My husband did apologize repeatedly and offered to pay for what he had done up to this point. However, both him and his wife were too offended by the word damn and simply did not care that he was apologizing for being emotional over the death of his mother. Once he got the mower home and fixed it himself he noticed the mower wasn't even touched other than removing the deck and taking a blade off. Over a month and nothing was worked on. Untrustworthy, lacing any compassion, and simply rude since the wife seemed to use the "f" word frequently in front of her young son. read more
