If you buy online storage auctions ,this facility and the employees can NOT be trusted they will set up units to look good ,hiding furniture and appliances and putting trash in boxes . I bought a unit that had went to auction ,sold ,gone through and abandoned again the employees here cleaned it up put the trash back in the boxes, and resold the unit as a "manager special" the previous buyer left a cleaning deposit which should have been used to haul off the garbage left behind instead the unit was manipulated to look better than it was .all together this cost me around 400$ ,again buyers beware read more

This review has nothing to do with excellent employees at the Los Banos location. But, to their Corporate office. I have recently paid and received my notice of "Rent Increase Notice". This is my second notice in 12 months. I find it insensitive and appalling that you would send these out to your customers. Especially, during this time of crisis and uncertainty #COVID19 #PANDEMIC Is FIVE DOLLARS?! FIVE DOLLARS!! going to make a difference? This could be used for half gallon of milk, gas, food or co-pay to see a Doctor. Most business are doing what they can do to help their customers in this time of need. I needed a storage for things I wasn't ready to go through but wanted to get out of my house before I had my baby so I rented the smallest space that they had available. Off the bat it was pretty pricey compared to spaces I've rented and inquired about in cities all over the Bay Area and Central Valley. I received a notice in the mail that after having my unit since late May my rental fee would go up to $90 in December. For the size of the unit $90 is a joke, but I guess there is a high demand for storages in this town people may be willing to pay that price. Sucks that they don't care to build a better relationship with reliable renters but glad I only have to give a 7 day notice before getting out before that horrendous increase. read more

Really clean facility. I really like that they have someone working their office 7 days a week. Both the young lady and man who work there are super friendly not like the place down street. Best thing about this place unlike other facilities is that units doors dont jam like other places iv rented at. read more

The prices online seem reasonable until you show up to rent your unit. BEWARE!!!! They have a hidden administration fee to process your paperwork. Then they also add on a $10/month mandatory insurance fee that they do not tell you about. All in all the smallest closet size storage was average of $75/month and over $100 for the first month . The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it's gated. Ripoff!!! read more

Although the drive from San Jose to Los Banos is long, the price of goods (e.g., fruit, food, gas, self-storage units) is lower in Los Banos, than San Jose). In my opinion, the money saved on these goods offsets the time and money spent traveling to LB. Payment methods. I have paid with both cash and credit card. An after-hours drop box exists for cash payment. Access. The storage unit is closed between 20:30-06:00. Unfortunately, the gate fails sometimes during normal operating hours. Today for instance, I arrived at 07:00 and typed my code without success. I pulled away from the gate, and another patron tried the gate. He drove away without entering. Phone Support. This business is a 9-5 business. Although a cell phone is given for after-hours access, the boss seldom answers her cell phone after hours; in my experience the bosses seldom answer an after-hours phone call, so the behavior of the Pacheco Mini Storage Boss is typical. The hired staff mostly answer the office phone during 9-5 hours. Forgiveness. I am forgetful, so I late with my payment often. Pacheco Mini Storage allows payment until the 10th of the month before a 10$ late penalty is assessed. In my opinion, this perk makes up for the other quarks at this business.

But when you make the effort to address it directly and don't even receive a follow-up or apology, it feels like it warrants sharing the experience publicly. I hired Rapid Moving to move between two houses less than two blocks apart--a move I likely would have done myself if time allowed. I also hired them to pack two of the six rooms in my home: the kitchen and my child's room. Upon arrival, similar to what others have mentioned in reviews, the movers smelled strongly of weed. They were also dressed in what I would consider inappropriate attire for a moving job--oversized clothing and slides. One mover was actively playing a gambling game on his phone while speaking with me and while I was giving them a tour of the house. That same mover stayed on his phone for most of the day, only hanging up when they drove the truck to the new house. At one point he even asked to borrow a charger because his phone had died. Many of the conversations he was having were inappropriate, and I was honestly relieved that my kids were not home to hear them. The move itself wasn't particularly fast, though I wouldn't say they were dragging either. What was strange was that with the truck only about half full and still two rooms of furniture left, they decided to make a trip to the new house to unload and then return for the remaining items. They ultimately finished within the expected time, but the last portion of my belongings was simply left in the living room. They also left an entire box worth of toys behind in my child's room that never made it onto the truck. During the move, they put a large dent in the molding around the bathroom door in my old home and broke one of the steps leading to the upstairs bedroom in the new house. The packing portion was especially disappointing. The movers only brought standard large boxes, not heavy-duty ones. While some delicate items were wrapped, several cocktail glasses were not wrapped at all. Most of the boxes appeared to be packed by simply tossing items inside with no organization or protection. One box that contained all of my cocktail glassware had a cast iron skillet placed on top of it, which resulted in significant breakage. In total I lost about $200 worth of glassware along with two collector plates from Disneyland Paris. In another case, a bottle of olive oil was thrown into a box where the pour spout popped off, leaking oil over the entire contents. Cleanliness was also an issue. The movers left remnants of their lunch throughout several rooms in my old house, including salsa drips on the kitchen counters. We bought them water midway through the move, only to later find empty bottles scattered around the new house. They also left behind their packing supplies--wrapping paper, tape rolls, and leftover boxes. After the move, I made an effort to contact the business directly to discuss my concerns. My call was answered by the receptionist, who was polite and did her best to take notes. However, I was really hoping the owner would follow up with at least a phone call and an apology. Unfortunately, that never happened.

I went to StorQuest to get information about getting storage and this nice guy was happy to answer all of my questions. The place is really clean and looks very well secured, nice to know my personal belongings are safe there, they charge a little extra for mandatory insurance. I really don't mind that knowing my items are being securely stored. The guy was nice and told me to come back anytime they are always happy to help. I feel secure with this business and by the looks of the place they take really good care of the area so I think I will store my things there. In 2002 I was in need of a storage unit. I was new in the area and after checking different places, I chose Mercey Springs Road Mini Storage, which is now officially StorQuest Self Storage (though the sign still says Mercey Springs). I no longer need my unit, so I let it go in May 2016. I always knew my things were in a safe and well maintained facility. The staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help. Very helpful and courteous staff. We were moving our son's stuff out of a house on a Sunday and it was getting late. The manager graciously completed our move in requirements and explained everything to us over the phone. He even helped up purchase a lock and had it waiting inside of the unit - he even had the crazy thick plastic packaging already open for us! This seems small but he had to know we had nothing handy with us that could have pried the package open! Very clean facility. So far a great experience and I would recommend using them!! read more

This storage facility is by far the BEST in LB. The maintenance on the property is well kept w/lighting, security cameras, pass code access and overall upkeep is clean. Great customer service! I called 4 other places, none of them called back except Marshall at StorQuest. Reserved a unit at no charge, even if i didn't rent a unit. I am glad StorQuest called and the others did not! New and very clean facility at a great price. Only renting for a short time but will definitely rent from them if needed again. read more
