This year, my daughter and I have experienced significant loss and instability. My mother passed away in 2020, and I lost my father in February of this year. As an only child, I inherited all of my parents' belongings. Due to circumstances beyond my control, my daughter and I were forced to move three times this year, and I placed everything I owned into a storage unit. I fell three months behind on storage payments. With fees, the balance totaled $654. During that time, I stayed in contact with management, made it clear the unit was not abandoned, and asked about a payment plan. I was given a deadline of December 15. I immediately asked if they could wait until Thursday, when I would be paid, so I could pay in full. I did not receive a response. When I went in to pay the balance, I was told the unit had already been auctioned. I lost everything in that unit, including family photos, letters, personal belongings, and most importantly, the cremated remains of both of my parents. I understand businesses have policies, but I believe this situation was handled without compassion or reasonable accommodation, especially given that I was actively communicating and attempting to resolve the balance. I am speaking out in the hope that no other family experiences this.

This place is apparently a ghost ship now and their phones don't work; no idea who the owners are…read moreand apparently they don't care about new business and expect you to chase them down if you want to rent there! Having rented multiple units and parking spaces from this place several years ago, on March 29th, 2024, I called and spoke with a man (believed to be Adam) in their office about renting multiple spaces. I thought the conversation went well, he was polite and seemed very interested in working a deal for a long-term rental, promising me a call back the next day. Never heard back from him. Although it's not my responsibility to chase anyone down to offer them my business, still I called their office number numerous times in the following days and weeks, almost never getting through. One time I did get a voicemail and left a message, but that too was never returned. I sent an email to the address listed on their website and got a reply, saying that I could do business with them through their website, and that they "no longer have full time office staff," despite the fact that the front page of their own website says you can "call to quickly rent over the phone" and provides a number! In any event, after dealing with this for 3 weeks, on April 20th, 2024, I was told that Adam had been contacted and I would hear back. Yet as of May 2nd, 2024, I still had not heard anything from anyone. I understand that this business has been sold several times, and even the recent email makes mention of a sale. It seems like the ownership just doesn't care, and believes that they are entitled to people chasing them around, and that people should trust renting there, despite reviews from other customers claiming that their prepaid rental agreements were reneged upon and allegedly their prepaid rents were taken from them and not returned. I have no idea who owns this place. Whoever it is, on it's face, they should be ashamed of their unprofessional and irresponsible behavior. I tried to give them my repeat business and they treated me like garbage, so I went elsewhere with my money.

Carrie was the nicest most considerate and friendly manager. She went out of her way for me and my getting settled in. The thing I loved was that I always felt safe and secure their. I never had any worries about my belongings being damaged, ruined lost, or stolen. The temperature inside the units is always cool and weather proof. I will definitely recommend and use again. Price is also fair and I will never store anywhere but here so long as I live near here. This is the best storage facility I've ever seen.
