I've had many storage units over the years but this location was by far the best service. The storage unit itself was nothing special but the service to sign up and exit were completely hassle-free. I held this one for two years and just last week moved out on a Sat afternoon. No notice given and stopped by the office when leaving to notify them. They said no problem and within 5 min of leaving I had my final notice emailed with service ending that day. Highly recommend. read more

I had a unit there for a couple years. I would've kept it for decades if they had been even remotely reasonable in their price increases. Starting out, the rate was decent, to lure you and your stuff in. DO NOT BE FOOLED! These people are cutthroats. I don't think it's the manager's fault, it's company policy apparently, from what the manager said at least. I've had a storage unit my whole adult life somewhere or another. I've NEVER had anyone increase rates this high this fast, with no pricing forecast whatsoever. They make it seem like they are protecting themselves against inflation. HA! Inflation isn't 150%, it's like 2%-4%. So I'd say they are "protected". They KNOW how difficult it is to move that many things at the drop of the hat, so they test your tolerance for price gouging, slowly at first then dramatically once they realize your life can't just be paused to relocate all of your belongings to avoid a bill that has more than DOUBLED. I broke my back and was unable to get the last few items out of my large unit last year. I canceled my account, expecting the remaining items to go into auction once they opened my unit. I figured it's a fair trade since I had no money to pay movers. I certainly couldn't afford the $300-plus/month fee (up from $100-something). They reactivated my account and ran up a bill quietly without ever calling me. The billion-or-so emails I'd gotten from Storage-Mart ended up annoying me enough I unsubscribed months prior. I think they do that on purpose as well. That way you don't see all the late fees racking up when they failed to inform you that selling your unit belongings in auction isn't enough after gouging you for thousands of dollars. They want more, plus late fees, plus interest...PLUS the revenue from the unit they auctioned. Quite a business model. Jilted customers only have one recourse, leave a review here and HOPE it spares other people. I can assure you, when it comes time to cut ties, they won't shake your hand and wish you a good day. They will bill you into submission and destroy your credit if necessary to bleed you for every last drop. Avoid these people like the plague! read more

I posted an earlier post about not storing your possessions at this facility and I wanted to give you an update. After filing the police report, I learned that there have been over 50 burglaries in the past year at this facility. They have cameras, but they are so bad that nothing can be seen. The manager has been most unhelpful with ambivalent responses. Absolutely DO NOT store your things here if you value them at all. read more

Unfortunately this story only gets worse. My daughter went in to put a deposit down and hold the unit until I was able to talk with a live person about the descrepecy in pricing between Storage.com and them. We had a less than ideal back up plan just in case we need to walk away, which we decided to utilize as they would not return a single call from us. We thought we would be out the $50 deposit but they charged us $285.28 for a storge unit we will never checked into or will every use. Very shady place be very cautious with them. read more

Bought a unit from StorageMart on an online storage auction site. Won the auction on September 5th. Drove an hour to their location only to learn that they were closed for the holidays. They ended the auction on the 5th even though they weren't going to reopen until the 7th. They give you 72 hours to clean out the unit and start the countdown when they aren't even open and you have no access to the unit. In all of my years of doing this I have never seen or heard or experienced something like this. It was like a bad joke. read more
