Tony delivered 100 gallons of oil to my home in the summer, not the first time as I had contracted…read morefor automatic delivery. I have a 275 gallon tank (so why was he delivering 100 gallons to me in July??) Well, he overfilled the tank!!...said I had a broken whistle valve. My system never had a whistle valve per my current oil delivery man. The oil spilled all over the side of my wood sided home and deck, into the basement, and throughout the ground floor bathroom and play area, soaking up and onto the base of the sheetrock on walls. Tony entered my home, went downstairs and sprinkled some white powder on the affected areas then left. My children play downstairs, but were prohibited from doing so for months due to the awful oil smell. Later, I was unable to reach Tony by phone because his voicemail box was full on numerous attempts to reach him. I called the # listed for emergencies and was greeted by a different contractor who said he would get a message to Tony to call me back. Tony did call back. I explained that he needed to return to clean up the oil spill in my basement. He refused. Said he was busy with personal matters and would not be doing any clean up. WOW, way to go! I was left to contact DEP and do extensive clean up myself.

It doesn't mean it'll stay that way, but I sure hope it does. The gas station is very clean, inside is a Dunkin Donuts and a typical connivance store. I didn't go inside, so I can't comment on the cost or on the selection. I was just happy to find gas at $3.29, and it's not a membership price.

I find that the best time to go is in the morning since there are lesser lines. It's extremely convenient that the hoses are longer so that you can pump at any side no matter where your gas tank opens. Also, cheapest gas in the area by far! Better deals than other places too with membership. Can't get better than that!

Don't forget your membership card, and some membership cards do have extra perks if you fuel on your Costco card. Clean lanes, lots of gas, and being not so far off 9 and 84 make this a convenient spot, if not a bust spot on the weekends or after work hours. There aren't cold drinks or lotto tickets, but no prob.

We recently needed some air for our tires, and when we stopped the air machine was available for $1.25 (for air???). Two things, though: one, the money goes to a local charity, and two, if you walk in and ask the attendants they will turn it on for free. We needed air in all our tires which took some time, and the attendants weren't bothered at all. Nice guys. A nice policy. They dispense Shell gas at a price equal to or maybe a penny or two lower than neighboring competitors. We're happy to return here.

I wound up with a flat tire in the Stop & Shop parking lot across the street from Plunske's. No…read moreproblem, I figured: I know how to change a tire. But it was a rental car, and I immediately discovered there was no spare tire -- just a device to inject fix-a-flat goo and compressed air into the flat. I'd never seen such a device before, so I walked over to Plunske's and asked for their advice. The first person I spoke to dropped what he was doing to help me figure out how to use the gizmo. I returned to my car, reinflated the tire, and drove it to Plunske's. There I encountered a second employee -- Dan, I think -- who was just as friendly and even more helpful. He removed the tire, carefully checked it visually for holes or leaks, immersed it in water to look for bubbles (and found none), replaced it on the car, made sure it was properly reinflated, and sent me on my way. The whole process with Dan took about 30-40 minutes, and he couldn't have been nicer or more thorough. I'm very grateful for the assistance of both people who helped me at Plunske's.

Very happy with their service.
