Thee is a great selection of wine, that is nicely stocked and available for purchase. Given the elegance of the setup inside the main hall, I have instantly raised the bar. My eyes are set on the wine tasting area with 2 counters on each side of the drink bar. There are 3 options for wine tasting:- $15 for Estate Wine $25 for Red Wine $30 for premium wine. The Estate Wine option is for 3 white wine, one rose and one red wine. I opted for the red wine option that offers 5 different wine to taste: 3 Pinot Noir of 2019, 2020 and 2021, 2 Shiraz of 2021 and 2023. I am expecting to have a knowledgeable host pouring each wine into the glass, explaining the variety, ageing process and characteristics. I had none of that, or at most a dull murmur of what he was pouring into the glass, with a straight poker-face expression, depressed and devoid of energy, too tired to go though any explanations. He has taken away my urge to swirl the glass and bring the glass to my nose to savour any aroma. I was left with sipping my wine fast enough in order not to look at the barman. It was that painful. Hopefully, you will find a more vivid host with some energy for you to gain a deeper appreciation of craftsmanship and passion that goes into each bottle, and making your every sip of wine more meaningful. My star review is for the wine that is quite descent. Not great, but worth a try.

Service was excellent throughout -- attentive, friendly, and professional without feeling intrusive. The food was also a standout, well prepared, full of flavor, and presented beautifully. A great place to spend a few hours, whether for lunch, wine tasting, or just taking in the surroundings. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area

Indeed, we took a bottle of the Tributo away with us to have with lunch and I enjoyed it even more interspersed with bread, olives, olive oil and anchovies. The cellar door experience is relaxed and friendly. Try a few styles and then visit the restaurant or sit outside during the day with a cheese plate and a bottle of your favourite. There's also jars of jams, chutney and the like to take home. Pro tip: check out the wine already chilled in the fridge for take-away picnic options. There may even be tins of ortiz anchovies in there. Buy some.

I particularly loved their 2016 Rosé and their 2015 Pino Gris. Lovely wines, and not too expensive! And that's not even mentioning the food! I got two entrees for lunch, because I couldn't decide between them! The quail was hot and delicious, the pickled radish (?) was an awesome complement to the slightly sweet sauce the quail was marinated in, and I loved the eggplant/capsicum terrine. So yummy. And the salmon was so interesting to eat! It was an event in texture play, with the soft smoked salmon and the beads of quinoa complemented brilliantly by...something small and delectably crunchy (wow, I'm a terrible foodie. I'm sorry.) and licorice sauce! I'd have NEVER guessed that it would work so well, but it did, and was amazing. So why 4 stars if I'm waxing poetic? It took them AGES to get the food to the table. It wasn't even a busy day, and they still took a long, long time. But it was nice to sip our newly purchased wine and look over the vineyards (there's a hill in the distance with lots of cool sculptures on it!) - cos the atmosphere was so nice, it was ok. Could've used some ambient music too, though, while I think of it. 100% would come again, but with a group of chatty people to help pass the time waiting for food.

He was stingy with his pourings and drank while we sipped the same wine samples. Wine taste is subjective to ones palette and I personally didn't like any of the wines. I believe his temparinillo is meant to be good but it is not part of the wine tasting. Beautiful vineyard outside and an attached restaurant. If you like your wine sour and highly acidic - then you make like the wine!
