I fell in here after I was "walked" at a local motel that was overbooked. John and Nancy are excellent inkeepers, committed to guest comfort. The facility is welcoming, the bed was quite comfortable, and the breakfast was out of this world. I would return without hesitation. Notes: (1) Cell phone service is limited to Verizon, since the Inn has a range extender. No other carriers will work. Wifi is available. (2) The last 1.8 miles of Stoney Lonesome Road is gravel. On arrival at the inn, parking is on the grass. read more

My son and I stayed overnight during a hiking trip to the Adirondacks. Nancy, John and Dan were very welcoming and hospitable... wonderful folks. The accomodations were clean and comfortable; breakfast was fresh, organic and plentiful. A peaceful retreat of an area. I look forward to our next trip up that way and a stay at the Stoney Lonesome. read more

This is a lovely property with the kindest, sweetest owners, charming and romantic rooms with excellent mattresses, and truly excellent food made with love. The house is set back in the woods, and surrounded by Nancy and Joe's lovely gardens, with songbirds everywhere, and the occasional deer peeping at you from the trees. We felt like we were staying with our favorite aunt and uncle! read more

Nancy is passionate about helping her guests to enjoy their stay - from comfortable beds, to a hearty breakfast, to an eco-friendly energy system. She loves the beautiful Civil War era farmhouse and the 200 acres it sits on and looks forward to welcoming new and returning guests to her little piece of heaven.

What a wonderful place to stay in a gorgeous part of the Adirondack Park. The owners, John and Nancy, along with their son Dan, were hospitable, courteous, extremely social and sharing of their home and the history of their B&B as well as the area. Breakfasts (we stayed 2 days) was delicious and plentiful. Accommodations were quite nice and all the bedrooms are decorated and make you feel comfortable and at ease. Be sure to ask John about the energy independence of his home and Nancy about her cooking and history of the Crown Point/Ticonderoga area. The location is deep in the woods, very quiet and relaxing. Wonderful to walk, meditate and a short drive to Crown Point and Fort Ticonderoga . read more

Don't miss out on staying at this charming B&B! We stayed for one night and had a quaint room decorated with family antiques and pictures. Breakfast the next morning was AMAZING! Our time spent with John, Nancy and their son Dan was so enjoyable. They were so warm, friendly and accommodating. Felt like we were part of their family! Absolutely Amazing! Extremely family oriented. They have amazing 2 dogs That make you feel safe and do not disturb you. House is BEAUTIFUL. Several rooms, bathrooms and a couple of rooms with bathrooms. And oh my god their cooking Is Fabulous. Very homie feeling and Nancy and John (the owners) are so friendly. Recently stayed at Stoney Lonesome B&B while in town for a wedding. Very quiet, and in a beautiful area surrounded by the mountains and lakes of upstate NY. Breakfast was always delicious too! Owners are very nice and the place is totally relaxed. Highly recommend for those visiting the area. read more
