I actually went two weeks in a row - I was treated one week and then I treated someone else the following week. The gardens you have access to before or after your treatment are lovely. There is a salt pool, sauna, hot tub with waterfall, chairs spread throughout, a fire...... really relaxing atmosphere. Then the treatment was amazing. Hot stone massage. It was just wonderful. very relaxing.f Then after the treatment, you can do a clay treatment and tthen sit in a steam room. All was lovely and I would recommend and will go back

Tried calling the front desk to ask them to ask them to be mindful there are people downstairs. This did nothing. Was just dismissed, offered no solutions. And left to just endure this torturous experience. I'm now on day 2 of a three night stay and about ready to shoot myself. Poor construction. No transparency. No consideration from either the people upstairs, nor the resort themselves. Got this on a BC Ferries vacation package thinking it was a good deal. No deal is worth this. If you value your sanity at all, don't ever consider this place as a vacation option. I will never stay here again.

There's a big banner over the pub stating room rates starting at $50 a night, really didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with what I got. I have never been on the Sunshine Coast and looking at things I was passing by, I really didn't have any expectations. After a day of not getting much sleep, some good boozing, being on the water, and chilling out with good friends, I was exhausted, like give me a bed so I can shut down. We were guided to this place and was amazed the backside was facing Pender Harbour, but how good can this place be, I mean it's above a pub. One flight of stairs after checking in we went into our room, they provide you two keys, one for the front door of the building, the other for the room (no scanning card keys, get your mind out of the big city life!), and no elevator, just a flight of stairs. We were lucky to have a room facing the harbour, it was clean, roomy, and quiet. No carpets here, which I actually like, as you know that it's easier for the cleaners, and also for yourself to walk around and know there is no build-up in the fabrics. There was a regular box tv, two night tables with lamps, a desk, a coffee machine, and a full washroom with tub and shower. You really have to take your mind out of what you see, or have lived in today and to a simplier time of yesterday coming to a hotel like this, many will think it is a motel for the size of the building and the ammenities but for what your getting for the money your paying, it is really good. Free parking up front, a liquor store that is seperate from the pub downstairs, and a tranquil view that you don't get in the big city. The staff there were very friendly and we had a very good sleeping night. Some things of note on our stay, the water pressure on the shower head was a little weak, and the blinds on the window didn't come down (it was like a portrait view out of our room thought) thank goodness it was a gloomy day or the sunlight probably would have been shining bright and waking us up at 6 am, but it was just nice to lay there looking out the window. If your this far on the Sunshine Coast, want value for the buck I wouldn't hesitate staying here.

Asked for a recommendation for another hotel, and the gal working in the liquor store was happy to accomodate. A little odd because the front desk for the hotel is also the front for the liquor store. Learned the building burnt down two years ago and they rebuilt everything. There's a liquor store and a restaurant in the same building.

The hosts, Will and Sylvie were extremely friendly and accomodating, knowledgeable about the area, and very hospitable. Furthermore, the B&B is just a short walk from the ocean and feels very private. My wife and I plan on staying here again in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

The hosts,…read moreSylvie and Will, go over and above all expectations to make you feel comfortable and at home in their luxury B&B. It seems that they are by nature open and receptive people, as we immediately felt welcomed. The location is a 3 min walk from the ocean. The Inn design and decor inspires calmness with it's clean lines surrounded by 5 story tall cedar trees. The Inn is built from cedar and that wonderful smell envelops you when you arrive; the windows are also framed in cedar- a very west coast look, the decor is Japanese Zen - including opaque 'rice paper-like' sliding doors between the kitchenette, the bedroom and the bathroom/spa rooms. I say bathroom/spa because it is like your own spa - but they do have an actual spa in the Inn with lots of great services-unfortunately we didn't make time to use them! The bathroom has double sinks, a steam bath shower- that's right, your own steam room in your bathroom!- and a tub for two or more with jet bubbles. The view from the bathtub, and the bed for that matter, is trees- just trees... you feel like you are in a tree house! There is a private patio for each room, ours had a glass roof, UV heater, bamboo water feature with pond plants, a love seat, chair and bistro table where we ate breakfast every morning. The breakfasts were filling and gourmet. The little touches such as a split basil leaf as a strawberry leaf on the berry garnish, allude to how much the hosts care about your experience. My gluten sensitivity was catered to without a hitch, nor did I feel like I was missing out because of it. We spend 3 nights there, could have spent a week. Although we were there in the summer- and the weather was perfect, I'd have no problem going there in the middle of winter as a retreat. I could have easily stayed in our room the whole three days- and that isn't just because I was on my honeymoon! ;-)

I stayed one day at the Gibsons Landing Inn on a recent business trip to the area…read more I found them on Expedia.com which provided pictures of the Inn including the rooms and an overview of their offerings. Let first say that what was written on Expedia and the photos were 100% accurate. It's a lovely Inn/hotel...the kitchenette was very big, with nearly a regular size refrigerator. My first thought was this room was bigger than my first studio apartment (many years ago). The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room was also appointed with a couch, a table with two chairs, lots of closet space and a TV. They provided free WiFi which was mostly reliable and like the big hotels squeeze bottles of lovely scented shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the spacious shower. What the Inn has in spades is serenity...there was hardly any outside noise...if the sliding glass door(to the patio) is closed, you get relative silence...the AC provided me with just enough white noise to be a comfort. If you have them open you'll hear the ocean and the birds more than the cars...very lovely! Lastly, it's within walking distance of the harbor and "Main Street" of Gibsons including a cultural museum, an outdoor piano, as well as some of the bars and restaurants of Gibsons. My POV of hotels is colored by the fact that I'm a 9yr Hilton Diamond member and there are certain amenities that I've come to consider as a given that is somewhat jarring when they aren't available like at this Inn. 3 examples: -no iron or ironing board-a business person like me needs an iron and ironing board. -the limited amount of outlets. I used outlets on every part of the room to charge my watch, two cell phones and computer. -no black out curtains, while the blinds offered privacy...they couldn't block out the light (natural or otherwise). I didn't bring my eye mask because I just take it as a given at Hilton hotels they have blackout curtains. Lucky for me I was too tired for it to matter. Lastly, every interaction was done electronically. There is no "front desk" and there isn't a breakfast area (that I was aware of) so once you're check in, you're on your own. It's the perfect place for a movie star (under an assumed name) to stay...no one will see you come and go. The Gibsons Landing Inn is a modern, well appointed and lovely hotel/motel/Inn. More fitted for the needs of the tourists to the area than a typical business person. Still knowing what I know, I'll probably be back next time Im in the area.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is tasty, and the people running it are very nice. I have to give it 2 stars off for a few small but important things: lack of soap and shampoo in the shower, and the views from the rooms aren't really that great - you have to go to the common television area, or outside to really see why they call it "Eagle View".

Awesome for reading, watching sunsets or just relaxing! The B&B is about 10 min walk from a rocky beach (water is good for swimming in July/August). The only downside is the fact that you are practically staying at someone's house (even though the hosts live on the second floor) and you might feel like you are lacking some privacy (expecially for romantic get-aways). I have already left a review on Google but I felt like it was my duty to really expand on it here…read more This place is absolutely TERRIBLE. We showed up for our reservation with a party of 6 and there was no one at the desk - just a sign that said that there was no receptionist and to call a number. But lo and behold, when you call the number it just rings a cell phone on the front desk! Waited for an hour before a "manager" showed up. His first question was "what time is it?" before attempting the most half-hearted of half-assed attempts to assauge the many angry guests in the lobby. At some point he told all of us that the rooms weren't ready, they won't be ready any time soon, and that it is what it is. Did I mention he reeked of alcohol? After about 10 minutes he seemed he had enough of this whole ordeal and sped off on his golf cart. I counted at least 4-5 other groups, each with probably worse stories than ours. Showed up on time to their reservation, no one responding to them for hours, before an aggressive and confrontational man did. A lady, Erica, finally showed up to try and fix everything that had happened, but you could already see how far south things had gone. The only phone line was being left unmonitored for the entire day (a busy Saturday weekend). Guestrooms that you could literally just walk into, in various states of disrepair, some having been clearly left for multiple days with garbage piling up into the corners. Erica told us her partner, the owners nephew, was coming over to remedy the situation - but that it would still take another 2-3 hours. Erica eventually managed to get us some bedsheets and toiletries. But even after we personally lined all the beds and threw out all the garbage, it was still way too gross to sleep in. So we left. Got back on the ferry, cancelled a weekend trip and just - left. It's crazy. You pay $300+ a night for a room and you get service worse than a dive motel. I'm sorry but avoid avoid avoid. We spoke to multiple people who had come by who all voiced their concern that management had gone extremely south. Owners, if you're reading this - take control of your business before its too late. And Erica, bless your heart - but run far far away from this, for your own sake.

There's A/C for comfortable nights during the summer, and fireplaces for ambience and warmth during the winter. There are also BBQ's and lots of area for dinner on the terraces. The other guests there at the same time as us were celebrating their first anniversary. None of us wanted to leave. To say that the suites are well-appointed falls far short. They have everything you need, and are cozy, comfortable and quiet. The hot tub is clean and has a spectacular view of the straight. Follow the gorgeous, long new staircase down to the water and you're surprised by private little spots with adirondack chairs. You can be 15 feet from other guests enjoying the beach and still feel like it's your own secret garden spot. There is a little spa cabin by the water as well, and although we didn't partake of the services, it was tempting. I could just imagine the ocean breezes lulling a person to sleep under the skilled hands of the local massage therapist. If you like to watch the boat traffic come and go, this is a great spot. If you're a gardener, you'll appreciate all of the planning and work that has gone into the property. If you like the beach, low tide opens up a white sand mini-spit just off the shore. And if you're crazy and brought work to do (like I did), there are tables in each suite, wifi and lots of peace and quiet.
