They have great prices and when it comes to service after the sale you can't do better. As an example; bought a new EDC Glock 43x moa. The trigger was 7 pounds at the "wall". John the manager and Glock armorer installed a three spring kit at no charge that immediately dropped it to 4 pounds and gave it a cleaner break and a nice "floor". I love it. That also helped me get the first shot on target. Great prices, excellent service, friendly folks! Please pay no attention to those reviews left by "out of towners". Makes me question why they stopped by Welburns, but I doubt that they were there to buy anything.

Homeland Security (Federal Authority) deems gun stores to be "essential business" *YAY*…read more This is a mom and pop shop has been around for ~25 years and they are currently open business as usual (CLOSED Sun/Mon). While I waited for my background check to process, there were several walk-in customers; business as usual *thumbs up* I had a special order request that I placed before my birthday. The typical turn around time for a special order is 3-5 business days. Unfortunately, these are strange times and the distributors are currently way behind. I ordered 3/19 and received a call today from the owner (Dan) that my item had been received and was ready for pick-up (almost 3 weeks later). A very pleasant transaction. Excellent customer service. A fair price *no price gauging here* Like everywhere else in todays market, call ahead for ammo... I scored a single box of "self-defense" ammo that is WAY BETTER than most critical points that I found elsewhere for just about the same price as a lessor specialty box normally costs me. Still, good luck finding ammo in the current climate... slim pickin's PS This place does NOT charge an additional fee for the required background check *thumbs up* Blackbirds charges $24 *no comment*

In this case I decided that I would buy what amounts to some of the finest, most precise AR-15 platforms around, Noveske. I chose the Generation III Recon. First and foremost the hardware is top of the line and most of it is made in house. The 16 inch barrel is Cold Hammer Forged Stainless Steel. The charging handle is robust and pivots side to side to assist. Unlike other AR manufacturers there is little need to replace the parts once you acquire it. The Keymod system is way better than the old MIL-STD-1913 and you can get adapters if you need to go back and forth I am at best an average marksman. Within five minutes of visiting this place for the first time I knew I had found what I was looking for. Not only are there several Sensei's (teachers) that train and work with students, in each class there are also a few Shihan (master teachers) that regularly guide classes and provide more instruction than you could find anywhere else. All these respectfully fall under the watchful eye of the Soke (grand master) who maintains discipline, preserves culture, and councils members and there families when needed.
