Beautiful crystals and awesome customer service!…read more I am an avid crystal collector and am always happy to find new crystal stores. I was so excited to have found Rock N Glass! I ordered several crystals online from them. Why I love this store: * The extensive selection of crystals. They have many unique crystals that I have not seen elsewhere. * The awesome customer service. I had a few questions and the owners were very prompt and helpful in their responses. * Quick service. Literally the day my order was placed, it was packaged and shipped. Hah, my only regret is that I live far away from Florida, so I am not able to visit this store in person. I highly recommend this store and will definitely be buying from them again!

Blu Crystal is AMAZING!…read more Not only was I immediately welcomed and introduced to one of the workers there, Lovely Linda (as I will now refer to her), but she and I had a wonderful conversation about Gainesville's crystal shops and local businesses and our own personal practices. She answered all of my questions without being condescending like other places can be, and treated me with respect, which is something I commonly don't receive right away at other establishments (age, appearance, piercings, etc.). They had a fantastic supply of herbs, crystals, incense, talismans, oils, and even clothes, tarot decks, jewelry, etc. The herbs in particular were of an impressive variety compared to other stores around town, are sold are in multiple sizes to suit however much you may need. I was accidentally charged twice for an obsidian bracelet and rang the store back to figure out a refund, and Lovely Linda immediately met my needs over the phone so that I didn't have to go back in. She was very patient and understanding throughout the short process. The crystals specifically tend to run a little expensive, but I think that it's more than worth the price to keep this business going so that other people may find what they are looking for as well. I will be a very frequent customer from now on! (And for those interested, the store also has a Tarot reader on hand-- I think-- every day, if not, very often.)

I've purchased both large statement pieces and smaller items over the last year, and the selection is consistently great. It's also an awesome spot to find unique gifts. If you're into crystals, rocks, or unique decor pieces, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Prehistoric Florida is great for tourists who aren't real collectors of rocks or fossils...which is…read morewhy I'd like to put my review at 3 stars, but the reality is, Prehistoric Florida just isn't for me, and that's okay! It's a really neat shop and is a must-visit, don't get me wrong. There's so much to see here and there are a lot of cool pieces to look at. However, if you're a collector like myself, you will be shocked by the price gouging. I have an extensive rock collection and I already own a lot of the rocks offered here, so when I saw the prices doubled if not tripled, I gasped. For example, I own a beaver skull and it cost me maybe $40. At Prehistoric Florida, that beaver skull is marked up well over $100. I also own a cave bear paw that cost $600...here at Prehistoric Florida, that cave bear paw is marked at over $1200. So while I enjoyed browsing, I was bummed that I wasn't going to buy anything due to the high prices.

Items from floor to ceiling! Crystals primarily, but also sage, books, tarot, singing bowls and more. The owner is a sweetie, very passionate and knowledgeable. The store is small and warm (especially the back rooms). I had to get on the floor to see some of the things I was interested in. Yup- will crawl around for crystals, lol. I picked up jade, flourite, carnelian, unicorn and grabbed a sage stick. My girlfriend got selenite and moonstone bracelets. I have to go back (oh darn), the owner forgot to put a couple of my crystals in the bag- I called after I got home and realized it and she put my name on them for next time I stop in.
