Obviously a hacker wormed their way into my account. I never purchased Norton security. I looked as far back in my transactions history as I could. There is no history of a transaction from Norton security in my transactions. I called OnPoint and reported it. They investigated it, put $159.99 back in my account. I spent some of it on groceries. Next thing I see on my account is an overdraft fee. The $159.99 was gone again? They decided to take it back. Maybe they couldn't track the hacker down and didn't want to eat it either so they probably decided to make me accountable. I'm on a small social security benefit and can't afford to be ripped off by a hacker or OnPoint. I'm changing credit unions as soon as I can transfer my social security to another institution.

We had automatic payment set up from an Onpoint checking account to an Onpoint auto loan. For…read morewhatever reason, the automatic payments did not go through for 3 months in a row. Frankly, we didn't notice because the account is dedicated to paying the loan, and we don't look at it all the time. Instead of contacting us immediately to let us know the payments didn't go through, they let us go on for 3 months then affected my credit report by 60 points. The customer service representatives refused to help me or reverse the report even though we always made payments previously and made the late payments as soon as we found out the originals did not go through. Which was only after looking at my credit report. They never notified us. They insist notices were sent in the mail, but we never received them. This is horrible customer service. Had we been alerted via a simple phone call, email, or message in the online banking portal, this would have been resolved immediately. Now my credit has significantly dropped, and the negative report will be on my credit for the next 7 years. Onpoint Community Credit Union needs to start contacting customers immediately when a loan payment is missed via phone call, email, and messages on the online banking portal. This used to be a great credit union; now it is worse than a big bank. We are paying the loan off early and closing our accounts with them as soon as possible. Put your money elsewhere.

I HAVE A VOICE DANIEL BERTOSZ…read more I've always had a great experience with OnPoint, and I still believe they're an excellent credit union. Unfortunately, my interactions with Daniel Bertosz, a financial advisor with OnPoint/Raymond James, have been the complete opposite. In my experience, he seemed far more focused on fees than on my financial well‑being. Whenever I questioned his recommendations or asked for clarification, he became defensive and even suggested I should take my business elsewhere.I've been with OnPoint for years and never imagined wanting to leave--until I worked with Daniel. His professionalism, communication, and willingness to listen were consistently lacking. His priority appeared to be moving me into higher‑fee products under the claim of a "better portfolio." When I first trusted him with my investments, he placed me in a portfolio that ultimately lost me around $30,000, and I still haven't recovered from that decision. To be clear, OnPoint itself has been great. But based on my experience, I would strongly advise against working with Daniel Bertosz as a financial advisor. Before choosing an advisor, I'd encourage anyone to check their credentials directly on FINRA's BrokerCheck and other things on this website about the advisor (brokercheck.finra.org) that's the best way to confirm licensing (like Series 63/65/66) and certifications (like CFP) rather than taking my word for it.

There's no way to message you on here. More than likely a bot response and if it's a real person responding STILL a bot response. Absolutely one of the biggest garbage things I've had done. I've been with you for 7 years. And today without warning you terminate my account because I'm poor and had "too many" over drafts even though they were from a gym at the worsed time of month to be billed. And even though I not only paid my bill but the over draft fee. And you didn't even warn me. Then y'all said you were putting into a system that I was a risk and making it hard for me to join another bank or credit union. Talking to others reaffirmed what I've felt for at least a year that you all were turning into a bank underhandedly. With bank like policies etc. you're terrible and I hope others close their accounts. I'm going on every social media and give you a review. Absolutely F off. Zero stars
