That's how we discovered Portland Goat Parties, and it did not disappoint. It felt like a full-on party, surrounded by the sweetest, most cuddly goats. Such a fun and unique experience! I randomly found this gem while looking for things to do in Portland. I found parking on the street…read moreright outside of the street that The Belmont Goats were on as per the website to not park on that specific street. It's free, but donations accepted to help out with the goats. The people running the place were friendly and informative. I was able to pet and brush the goats. The goats were cute, and I enjoyed getting to spend some time with them. :)

Visit the School House with a working bell, walk through the Haunted Dark Forest. There's lawn games, pan for gold, duck race, and so much more. You can shop in the wedding barn and have a bite to eat from limited food trucks choices. Plan to be there for several hours so get there early so you don't miss anything. The friendly attendants will help you buy a reasonably priced bracelet to enter. Extra cost for pumpkins, zombie paintball, horse drawn carriage, train and wagon rides. Well worth the price.

We walked around handing out and hiding beautifully painted rocks to people with a group of people. I was lucky enough to meet a couple of the family members that own the farm as well. I look forward to visiting again soon to check out everything we couldn't see on this visit. Parking is great and a plenty. They have people directing the parking area which is a plus.

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

I was surprised at the price. $15 per ton for dumping dirt and $5 per ton for dumping concrete. Definitely the most affordable place in the area. I only took one start down because maneuverability is a little difficult especially with a trailer and service is sometimes slow due to the guys not always being in the office when you drive up to weigh.
