Noooo, Do not even think about Stoneacre garages. No punctuality, Bad service, Poor customer care, Not genuine
and the highest price I made the wrong choice and I was like total loser. I do not
wish any newbie to feel the same pain I had. I have asked for Cambelt Relacement, Full service and MOT
and they (Claire) did a price match for the same offer I received from a local
garage. I trusted and wished to get it done from a Peugeot Dealer and agreed the price match. I
booked the appointment on a Tuesday and they promised to finish it on the same
day. They didn't do anything on Tuesday and when I called them
inquire about the delivery, then started their standard service (only changing
the oil and filters), made me to wait on the road for 30 mins and took my
vehicle on the second day morning to waste my 2nd day. I asked for a cambelt replacement, full service and then the
MOT. When they do the full service they can inspect most of the issues involved
with the MOT and let me know any required repairs first then I can decide on
repair costs before the MOT test. But they did the MOT first to make me rely on their garage
for repairs at very high price. They quoted me £722 for rectification repair
only, plus the previous quote of £380. And they made me to lose the last 24
days of my previous MOT which would have given me enough time to decide on
repair cost. I denied for the rectification works and they asked me to pay the
quoted amount (£380) before they deliver the vehicle which is failed on MOT. Still,
they didn't do the full service as they mentioned in the quote. Claire (Marketing assistant who quoted me) agreed to me that
they should have picked up all these faults by visual inspection if they do the
full service first. In the next couple hours she talked everything favor to
garage and her tongue were upside down within two hours. If they find out these
faults on full service, the usual procedure is to let me know first about the
repair before they test for the MOT. Another funny thing is they did cambelt
replacement after the MOT failure. On the next day, I booked the appointment in the local
garage for the MOT to confirm these faults. It passed the MOT with out any
problem. However, for my safety I asked the mechanic to repair those faults and
paid £140 including the MOT charge. 1.They didn't do it on time as they promised and wasted my
two days in frustration. 2.They didn't do full service as I asked them to do. However,
they charged me for the half service. 3.Not a good customer service, until I call them inquire
about the delivery time they didn't start the job. 4. The highest in pricing and very smart in putting you in
