A course employee drove out to our location via golf cart and explained the dilema. We were then offered 4 comp rounds, including carts, if we could return the next day. We did. The course is simply stunning in its scenic views and we found no better prepared fairways and greens anywhere on our golf trip. This course moves to our top 5 list in Oregon. Fred B. Known as Arnold Palmer's Sweet Sixteen of over 300 courses he designed. I started looking for golf deals. I found one on Golf Moose $99 twosome. Cart additional $25 p/p. Still a good deal to play at a resort. Our tee time was today at 9:20 am. There was a frost delay. Fortunately there weren't any players until 8am so there wasn't a backup. The starter had us go out at 9:10am cuz the 9:10 group hadn't shown up yet. We followed a threesome. Soon it became evident it was going to be slow play. The course is spectacular. You're surrounded by trees and water. It's situated in a basin of a former ranch. We finished two minutes behind pace. 4 1/2 hours total. It seemed longer cuz we waited at every hole. Friendly starter and fellow golfers.
