There's still a ways to go before one might consider this a great course but it's very playable right now. - greens are OK. The grass runs fairly true but some greens have huge brown spots. Pin locations in a couple of holes were a bit ridiculous. - fairways also OK. Some torn up spots from maintenance vehicles (which really isn't acceptable) but mostly you'll get a decent lie. - bunkers: who knows? I managed to avoid all of them. - water is a hazard on just a few holes. - layout is pretty good. Holes are interesting, not repetitive. - carts are electric and run fine. No frills. - beverage cart service was disappointing. She showed up on our second hole and was never seen again. - decent practice facilities. All in all, A-OK. If I lived nearby, I'd put Stone Ridge in the rotation. As it was, I was here for a Veteran Golfers Association tournament.
