If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. This was by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had. If you're considering buying a car from Stone Mountain Nissan, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere--you'll save time, effort, and frustration. We were in the market for a new car with a trade-in. Carl, the so-called manager, personally insisted that we bring in our vehicle, promising that they could offer us a better trade-in value than what we had already been offered elsewhere. Trusting their word, we made the trip, expecting a fair and professional evaluation. Here's what actually happened: 1 Carl didn't even have the basic courtesy to meet us. After convincing us to visit, he was nowhere to be seen when we arrived. Instead, he sent out a junior, inexperienced staff member who barely introduced himself before taking the keys to evaluate our car. 2 After looking at the vehicle, the junior rep rudely dismissed us with a simple "No, we can't take it." No explanation, no discussion--just a complete waste of our time. 3 When we asked why Carl had assured us a better offer, the rep had no answer--just a robotic "Sorry, we can't take it." 4 We requested to speak to Carl, who was supposedly the one in charge. Instead of coming out to talk to us, the rep went inside, came back, and bluntly told us that Carl was "too busy" to meet us. Too busy for a customer that he personally invited in? Absolutely unacceptable. Agreed that offering a better value (or not accepting the trade-in) is their choice, however, the sheer rudeness, lack of professionalism, and dishonesty displayed by Carl and his team is disgusting. If you value your time, do NOT visit this dealership. They will lure you in with false promises and then dismiss you without so much as a basic courtesy. I honestly don't know how this dealership has more stars with such pathetic customer service. Save yourself the frustration--go to a dealership that actually values its customers. Bait and Switch Ricardo Shepherd at the dealership sent me a letter stating they could offer me $9409 for the Nissan Leaf I purchased from them 15 months earlier. I texted back and forth with the dealership to verify that if I came out there, my vehicle with 29k miles on it, in good condition, would be worth $9409. The answer was yes. When I got to the dealership, they offered $4500. I wasted an hour and a half of my time to get offered 45% of what the car's current Kelley Blue Book wholesale value.

I don't know how many times I have had issues with this dealership, which I originally bought my car from! Last few times took it, they NEVER TOPPED OFF MY FLUIDS! My car ran hot and had to be towed back to the dealership, and I brought it in for a KEY MALFUNCTION! They tried to blame me, but I keep receipts. Next, while that was being fixed, found out I had a flat tire. Placed a donut on the car, and went to pick it up. I found them tokyo drifting my car in the parking lot around the curb. I was astonished and completely shocked. They truly abuse women's trust. Go with your man, brother, dad, uncle whatever because they will overcharge and RUIN your car. Never going back periodt.

‼READ BEFORE VISITING‼When dealing with thousands of dollars customer service should be great and my experience here was far from that. My boyfriend was assisting me with buying a new car and was the only person that spoke with salesman Shah. There were other people before us deciding on the same car we wanted. There was a cheaper option we wanted to check out across the street but we were stopped at the door by Shah saying "I will match the price of the car you want to look at, go sit down". We sit down and a "manager" approaches us wondering what's going on...we simply said "we just sat down because of what your salesman said". Salesman Shah proceeds to immediately lie and say he never said such a thing. The "manager" says he will work us a deal but not the one we were just told to make us stay in the building. While we wait, my boyfriend asks the salesman why he just lied about what he said, Shah responds with "if you want to play games I'll sell you this car for your price and only give you 10k for your car". (My car sold for $18,500 hours later). At this point I was very uncomfortable with the situation and my boyfriend said he wanted my keys back so we can leave. While we're waiting for our keys Shah is in a room laughing with the "managers" so my boyfriend got the keys himself. The next day, random number calls and it's salesman Shah, I answer and tell him he can speak with my boyfriend since I was busy and he says to him "do you still need a car". The fact anyone called other than a manager with an apology is unacceptable coming from a professional standpoint. My boyfriend hung up and texted him from his own phone since they were texting prior to our in person experience. While this is going on Shah is calling me multiple times and I did not answer. Shah then screenshots his message, sends it to me, and feels the need to bring up my boyfriends RACE⁉⁉ Disgusting right. And why he texted me personally like this is beyond me. I'm not sure who these people think they are but I am disturbed that I even filled out any documents with this establishment. Give your money to people that actually work for it in a nice, friendly, and professional way!!! Photo attached is the text I received from Shah with the screenshot of what my boyfriend texted him. *SIDE NOTE: Since this establishment has made it clear they do not like Turkish people, the extremely kind GM at the Toyota across the street is Turkish. Go there. I will be calling Nissan corporate on Monday to see if they have the same feelings towards the Turkish community.

It is a small office that's not super-tidy, and I could see people having a first impression that it's not professional, because it's very laid back there, but I didn't mind that and don't think anyone else should. On a huge plus side, I was able to take the car I was interested in for a test drive around the area for an unlimited time with no supervision, which was good so that I could take my time for half an hour and truly observe how well the car worked and sounded without feeling influenced to buy it by someone sitting in the passenger seat. Also, the car had some very minor issues such as a foggy headlight that, when I pointed it out, they freely replaced without any problem the next day before I closed the deal. I've had to do maybe $3K of work on the $10K vehicle since I've bought it, so be aware that you'll likely have to put some more money into the car, and that even after getting it inspected, other issues will creep up that they don't necessarily repair or tell you about, so there is that game per se, where you need to do you research to limit your chances of getting a lemon. I'm not assuming the low reviews are fake or invalid, but everyone has their downsides. And with a young crew, it's definitely possible some were too unprofessional, which is unacceptable if you encounter that. That said, everyone there was friendly with me, and the experience was the total opposite of other dealerships where car salesmen really lean on you to close quickly. There was literally 0 pressure the whole time, not even passive-aggressive stuff like "Oh, these cars go fast, think about it." I got the impression that they do solid business and don't really need to force customers to buy anything just to make commissions, which was a welcome change of pace. Some tips: 1. Do you research of the car history on Carfax.com. I don't pay to get access to all car histories, I just research the ones with free histories, but it'll help you avoid a lemon. I stick to 1-owner vehicles with no reported crashes. If there's no free Carfax report, I won't buy the car. 2. Sometimes used cars DO go very fast, so while you shouldn't just take the first car, if you're picky, you do need to act to get what you want quickly, since it could be snapped up within the next couple of days if it's newly listed. 3. Find out the internet price of the used vehicle on Cars.com, the dealer's own website, and/or other sites listing the vehicle. Print the info for the cheapest price and bring in it with you so that the dealership will honor the lowest price they've offered. Don't show it to them until AFTER you've negotiated the final deal but before you sign anything. I saved a little over $500 because Southern Auto Imports listed the car on Cars.com with a cheaper price compared to their official website. Make sure you know the bottom line price with all the taxes and fees as well, as it'll be a little higher that the base price. 4. Do your own loans/financing to pay for the car, instead of doing it with the dealer. You'll get way more favorable loan terms from a credit union. I'm a member of my local credit union, so I was able to get a $2K loan from them to cover what I didn't have, then I paid for the used car with Southern Auto Imports in full. Then I paid the loan back in 3 weeks (though I had 2 years to pay it back gradually). Anyway, bottom line on Southern Auto Imports, I had no problems, the salesmen were friendly throughout, it was 0 pressure to purchase, and you may need to pay some extra after you buy to fix more things. I would definitely recommend them myself, and not just go off the lower reviews. Definitely worth a look as long as you do your own research on the car's history and price.

To start on a positive note, I did appreciate the way the initial sales process was handled. The salesperson allowed me to do most of the negotiation over text and email, which gave me time to review and think through the deal at my own pace without pressure. That was easily the most comfortable and beneficial part of the entire experience. However, once the process moved into financing, my experience changed significantly. My wife and I were among the last customers at the dealership that evening while staff were beginning to close out. During the financing process, we were presented with documents to sign both physically and digitally, but there was very little time spent reviewing a clear breakdown of how the final price was structured or how additional products were affecting the total cost. We were given a total amount, but not walked through how items like GAP coverage and the service contract were being applied to the financing. The digital signing process also felt rushed, with limited opportunity to carefully review documents before signing. It wasn't until after leaving the dealership and reviewing the paperwork that we realized the total cost had increased well beyond what was originally discussed. I had negotiated to stay around $15,500 out the door, but the final amount ended up being over $18,000 once everything was included. I understand that I share responsibility for reviewing documents before signing, but I do feel that more time and transparency should have been provided, especially when optional products significantly impact the final cost. Additionally, after the sale, communication became very difficult. What could have been resolved with a simple explanation, such as how to handle warranty concerns directly through the provider, was not clearly communicated. This led to unnecessary frustration and additional time spent trying to figure out next steps on my own. After reviewing everything, I chose to cancel the GAP and service contract products and handle future repairs independently. That process was completed through the warranty provider. While I appreciated the flexibility and professionalism during the initial negotiation phase, the financing process and lack of follow-up communication left me with a negative overall impression. Because of this, I would not return for future business. My advice to others is to take your time during financing, request a full breakdown of all charges, and make sure you fully understand how optional products affect your total cost before signing anything. Overall, this has been a learning experience, and I hope sharing it helps others approach their purchase more informed and prepared.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience…read more My experience at Stone Mountain Volkswagen was unacceptable and unprofessional from start to finish. My initial interaction was with a sales representative named David, whose communication style was condescending and dismissive. During our conversation, he told me I should "stay in my lane" because I do not work in finance. That comment was not only inappropriate, it was uninformed. I had to explain that I hold an MBA, previously worked in banking for 12 years, and currently work for a company that provides business accounting software. His tone and remarks reflected poor customer service and a lack of basic respect. I left the dealership due to this interaction. Afterward, I was contacted by the Sales Manager, Brandon, who apologized and asked me to return so they could "make it right." I agreed and returned with my boyfriend. We were then seated with Ishmael, who handled negotiations professionally. We clearly stated that if the deal could be finalized at $46,500 out the door, we would move forward immediately. Ishmael took the offer to Brandon, who initially agreed to the terms. However, that agreement was retracted once Brandon learned I would be using my credit union. At that point, Brandon stated the dealership would only honor a higher price ($46,900) if I used their preferred lender, whose APR was significantly higher than my credit union's. This practice raises serious concerns. Under Georgia consumer protection and auto sales laws, buyers have the right to: *Use their own lender or credit union *Receive transparent pricing *Avoid tied selling, where pricing is contingent on using a specific financing source *Be free from bait-and-switch tactics or deceptive trade practices Conditioning a negotiated price on the use of a higher-interest, dealer preferred lender is ethically questionable and potentially violates Georgia's Fair Business Practices Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive acts in consumer transactions. This dealership had multiple opportunities to correct the situation and failed. The apology did not align with the actions that followed. I would strongly caution other buyers to: *Get all pricing in writing *Be prepared for pressure around financing *Know your rights under Georgia auto sales laws Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stone Mountain Volkswagen. Respect, transparency, and ethical dealings were clearly lacking.

I spoke to Kelly on September 1, 2016 to see what was happening with my title and she said that I would have to talk to Chuck that she did not handle the titles. So I followed up with an email that stated it was imperative that Chuck get in touch with me on that day or I would file a complaint against their dealership and within an hour or so Chuck contacted me and seemed surprised that it had not been completed. He stated that he would follow up with the auction and he assured me that he would get it taken care of. Well, here I am 20 days later and it is still not complete. I have heard nothing from the dealership regarding this matter. I emailed the dealership on September 15, 2016 with no reply and followed up on September 19, 2016 with an email and the response from Kelly was that I would have to talk to Chuck since he handles the titles. It seems to me that if you work at the dealership then you should contact that person and have them call the customer that is having the issue and not expect the customer to take care of it. I guess there is no sense of urgency in this matter since they already have the money for the truck. As of September 20, 2016 I filed complaints with the Secretary of State and The Georgia Department of Law, Consumer Protection Unit. I emailed Cannon Used Cars, Inc. to inform them of this and as expected they did not respond. I am not sure if this is how they normally conduct business but from the experience I am having I would not buy from them again and nor would I recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a used vehicle.

My wife & I purchased a 2011 Ford F250 from United Auto Gallery on January 28, 2023 with 265,000 miles on it, this was our first time purchasing a Diesel vehicle. Two weeks after purchasing the vehicle I noticed it had a radiation leak, I got it fixed because I felt as if I had a good truck. 2mouths after I noticed a real bad oil leak I also got it fixed and reached out to United Auto Gallery to inform them on the issue that have been occurring with the vehicle. Here is August 6mouths later of purchasing the vehicle and now the entire fuel injection system have went out. I reach out to them again and explain to them all this have occurred with vehicle, they played victim and said I'm trying to blame them for happened with the truck and said my kind of truck always having fuel injection failure but refusing to acknowledge the prior issues before this. My truck had little dents and bents here and there but the truck look good but it had major internal issues. So I'm here to inform anyone to get a good mechanic to do a good internal inspection because United Auto Gallery sales guys only out to sell not to provide good quality to their customers.

We sat at our credit union for 2 hours, waiting for 2 pieces of paper from STH to be scanned to my credit union rep. Those papers were wrong FIVE TIMES. My middle name was wrong, my DOB was wrong.... wrong driver's license in the wrong state. Price was wrong. Finally we were done there and headed out to pick up the car. Was told by the sales rep gal that we'd be in/out in 15 minutes. LIE! Waited and waited and waited. Finally I was like "And what exactly are we waiting for? We were supposed to be out of here 45 minutes ago." She says "I'm waiting for the finance manager." K... sigh. Then she was waiting for ANOTHER manager to do whatever that manager does. All they did was waste time. FINALLY got into said Finance manager's office to sign off on the last of it and hand over our down payment check & the credit union check. STILL took another 30 minutes because I found errors...again. Yeah, the guy apologized repeatedly but he knew I was NOT AMUSED. By then, I just wanted my car to go home! Made it clear that the only reason I didn't walk away from the deal is because of their "Non-Refundable Deposit" form I had to fill out so they wouldn't sell the car out from under me. Were it not for that, I'd have departed. Music in that dealership was so loud, we could barely hear ourselves think. Plenty of people walking around... doing just that. Nothing else. So incredibly unprofessional. Told them "You wanna learn how to run this dealership better? Go visit Honda Carland in Roswell GA or Ed Voyle's Honda in Marietta GA. Those two are class acts. Again, I'll buy another Honda someday but it will NEVER be from Stone Mountain Honda!

Got there early and my technician was still at lunch, but another man assisted in checking me in. When Mr. Z (my assigned technician) returned he came to introduce himself. Shortly thereafter he came to tell me there was a problem with my coolant system which was discovered when they put the car on the lift. The first diagnosis was dreadful but he said they would investigate further. Shortly thereafter he came back in a celebratory mood, and said that the problem was not as severe as first anticipated. Ultimately, the repairs only took slightly longer time than I had expected just for the oil change. I was told of everything that was happening and could not have been treated more cordially. The only reason I am not giving the 5th star is that the waiting room is shabby and needs a good redo at some point. Otherwise, as to the service done, I am VERY pleased. Thank you Mr. Z.
