Firstly, why do we have to wait in a hideous line for two hours just to verify residency. Why can't we go to our child's classroom and do that? Wouldn't that be more logical? My child went here last year and the teachers are overworked, their classrooms are overcrowded and therefore they don't care. This school is an expert at taking the joy of your child going back to school and making it a horrendous nightmare. By far, the worst school ever! Please do something about this schoolboard! If your goal is to educate, start with yourselves and make numerous changes. It is unethical to ask order and organization from our children when the administration can't even get it together! The worst school EVER! Do not send your child here unless you want a lack of education and a headache. Sincerely, my child will be attending another school shortly. People talk about others and the school counselor is horrible. I hope they get their stuff straight because I personally am not enjoying it. They really care about the education and life experiences your child is receiving. Now the principal... While I do not have any current issues with her I simply do not believe she is working for the benefit of the school. I never feel welcome when I am there unless I am doing something in regards to parent/teacher conferences, honors programs, etc. The morale of the the teachers is low. I continue to enroll my children at Allgood in hopes that this becomes the place that the parents, teachers & students all can grow and learn. OR... I have enough money to send my kids to private school.
