Don't get me wrong, I miss high school...but when you get a little older, that's normal. It doesn't matter if its the best school or the worst. Hononegah is somewhere in between, but closer to the latter. Its a good facility and all, but the younger teachers are sort of uninvolved, run-of-the-mill douchebags. I mean, go to a bar and there's a decent chance you'll see your old chemistry teacher spilling a beer on some freshly 21-year-old girl, trying to take her back to the condo. Rockton-Roscoe is a pretty OK place to raise kids because the cops are insidious asshxles, fresh out of the academy, so they keep shxt locked down. Besides Walmart, Hononegah is the best thing Rockton has going for it, and that ain't sayin' much.

This Principal, Mrs. Robinson, is a very nice lady and will take ANY questions you may have about ANYTHING!!! Assistant Principal, Mr Hibler, is just O.K. He yells at children, which is why I gave the school three stars. I would say the classrooms are decent size, but could be bigger, especially when you have a bigger class. I'm not sure the yelling at children helps stop the child from doing bad things, but it may seem rude to parents, and may scare the children. I love the teachers my children have had. hello, I'm a student here currently in the school as of Jan 5th. and the school is okay, it's not…read moregood or bad just meh. i'm going to tell you the pros and cons of this school. the pros, first off they don't really have a dress code, as long as you are not naked you will be fine lol. the cafeteria is not half bad. what I recommend is the cheese sticks and the sub sandwiches. everything else I don't really like, and you have to be careful with school food because it can get you food poisoning. trust me, iv'e been there. the layout of the school. it might seem intimidating at first, but once you go through most of the halls it's actually pretty easy to walk around and find you way to your classes. now here is the cons, the students. obviously it's not really the school's fault for making some of the students be rude or misbehaving, it's most of the time the parents fault. but let me tell you, some of these people in the school do NOT know how to act at all! leaving trash on the floor, acting up and yelling, making fun of people, etc. just if you are the kids that act up at school, at least respect the people around you and mind your own business. it's that easy, you don't have to bother anyone just for a good laugh or being really rude to the teacher for no reason, just be kind. and btw you don't look cute or make you look cool, you just look stupid and making that person or everyone uncomfortable. next up is the clubs (I am so sorry this is taking long, I just have a lot to say ) okay so the clubs I know there is dnd, chess...to be honest there is not that many clubs. but we need to add more clubs so everyone has more options if they want to be in a club! or have students make clubs so there is more diversity. next is the lunchroom itself...oh my god it is alway so packed. they should bring back students if they want to hang out in the classrooms they can instead of then lunchroom because whenever I'm in there it's just anxiety inducing! Next is the smart passes. I know people are doing stupid stuff in the bathrooms and stuff so they have to keep track of everyone, but literally it is so annoying. First you have to make a pass on your phone/computer or the teacher will do it (and if you can't get into the bathrooms, it's because there is a limit for how many people go outside into the halls which is insane) then you have to rush to the bathroom and back so your pass doesn't go over the time limit. If you go over the time limit they might cut you off with passes or smth for a short pierod of time. At this point just have paper or personal passes the teachers hand out for students so they can use the bathroom Like we used to. Because if you have an emergency, you can have time to do whatever you have to do and relax for a minute. And if one of the kids is taking too long, just make security find them and see if you punish them or not. Okay that's pretty much it. I hope you found this helpful, hopefully. The safety/survival stuff they teach gives me peace of mind, which is huge! My kids love going every week, their instructors are amazing especially Jennifer! Classes are small and price is great for how much fun my kids have. Plus, they're veteran-owned and have a military discount, which we appreciate. Just awesome choice all around if you are looking for swimming lessons!
