My hair was coloured at the sink a second time using a different dye without my consent. I overheard a member of staff whisper to my hair colourist that she ought to add some brown dye in with the treatment and this advice was followed without informing me first. When I asked if another colour had been put into my hair I was told that it was just a treatment to prolong the colour. I know for a fact that this was not the case. The first colour (dark blonde) had already been rinsed away entirely and the new "treatment" was a much darker and warmer brown and had the same odour as the dye previously used. I assume my allergy test covered me for both. I was also lied to about using permanent dye on my natural hair. Another salon have confirmed that a brown permanent hair colour was added. I emphatically stated that I did not want my nine months of natural hair regrowth touched with any permanent colour and they gave me their word. I have wasted my money but I am far more upset by the deceit and devastated with the new unflattering colour. I do not have a poor understanding of how the dyes work, I study biochemistry. I am in no doubt that I was lied to.
