The hairdresser looked very young and was obviously quite inexperienced and I felt a little uneasy as to what my haircut was going to look like. She took forever cutting it and I must have been sat there for an hour just for a simple dry cut. The salon itself is very nice and professional looking and maybe I was just unlucky getting such an inexperienced hairdresser but it put me off and I didn't return. Prices were not too bad.

For the disinterested stylist standing by whilst you hang your own coat, to the brief one word responses to any question, all issues here seem to stem from the stylist I dealt with. The haircut itself seems unfinished compared to other salons, missing the final tidying which other salons provide as standard. The stylist either didn't know what a tapered neckline is or was too lazy to do it. Either way is unacceptable at these prices. This was followed by no blow drying to remove the cut hair and ultimately no offer of any product at the end of the cut. I've never experienced that at any budget. All these things are offered by salons charging a third of what Crues charges. On a Sunday I was there, the salon wasn't busy so there's no excuse of the level of service I experienced. Rather than go to Crues for a gents cut, instead I would recommend either a £10 standard cut elsewhere or another premium salon which offers a level of service and skill related to their costs.

They have very friendly young staff who provide quality hair and beauty services. The website is lovely and reflects the professionalism of the salon. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this salon to my friends. Free parking right outside too.

That said they are fine at colouring hair, provided your not in a rush and happy to pay London prices.

I agree box charge London prices for a very very average service…read more however I've been a loyal customer for nearly 3 years on the basis that the stylists I've had have been good. Though I will never go there again after the appalling experience I had today-being left waiting for my stylist for 15 minutes only to find out he was still cutting someone else's hair, why did the receptionist say "he knows you're here" rather than just saying sorry he is running late! I decided to ask for my coat and leave, they had no shame in just letting me go! Pretty poor service for a £40 men's hair cut!
