This place is cute, I mean there's just not another word for it. They have a nice amount of antiques though a lot of the decorator touches are reproductions. The prices are great. I found a cute (see I told you) little vintage reproduction bird bottle opener for $4. I'ma be so cute opening my beer--like a genteel lady and what not. If you have a daughter who is decorating a dorm then you need to check this place out for quirky stuff. We bought an arrow to hang on Shelbell's dorm door. SO cute. They have lots of cute clothes too, but they are spread out through the building so you have to hunt for them. They do have fitting rooms. So the big sign says "Antiques for Modern Living" but the website totally says "Stokes & Company Antiques for Modern Living" so whatever. And there's a Stokes Antiques on Butternut but this is on 1st and the website mentions a recent move--but whatever again. Check this place out! Four cutes = four stars! read more

I have bought my share of books, some clothes and PLENTY drawing/painting supplies (at a liquidation sale of a arts store). The flyer you receive at home is detailed (which allows you to avoid spending time and gas surfing through a mountain of unwanted items). The people who run the show are bubbly, colorful and gifted with an overwhelming southern hospitality that warms your heart even on a cold winter day. I love love love FAB FINDS.

What happened to this place?…read more I remember this being one of the best places to go to as a kid. It's not as good as it use to be. That's not the fault of the people in the booths. It's the people who run it now. Especially towards the back at Ray's booth. Nazi flags and a "South will Rise Again" flag? Really? I understand the importance of WW2 but having Nazi flags tied with the other one screams racism. It's 2015. The war has been over for many years. Either embrace culture or be left in the dust. Also, the guy is a jerk. He gets his prices from eBay but I don't think he understands the difference between 'Buy it Now' and completed auctions. He's very unpleasant to deal with. Bottom line, go somewhere else. A lot of people are more worried about value instead of making the experience a good one.
