Most of the teachers and administrators dont care about the students. The principal is like something you read about in the newspaper and not fit to be anybody's principal or work around anyones kids. I pulled Both my highschoolers from this school and pay for them to go to a private school . They now greatly excel in academics . None of my kids will ever go here again even though this is our assigned highschool . Please, if you are looking for a highschool where your kids can excel and learn life lessons as a teen do not pick this school and honestly you should probably reconsider the county for education .

This school is a diverse group of kids and great teachers and administrators. I have had 2 kids go there, the last one is a Senior. The first one is a Sophomore at a Division 1 college in the honors program. Mr. Smith, the Principal cares more about these kids than any principal I have ever seen. They have teachers who come in early and stay late to help the kids who are having trouble with different subjects. I lived in PTC and my first kid went there to the green school. Drugs, clicks, and entitled brats reigned there. Sandy Creek is a great school with great people. No trouble at all. Yes, its diverse, so is the world. Teaches everyone its not about race, color, religion, or political views. They are Patriots and I am proud to be involved. Brian Siefert

      My children went to school at East Newton for 4 years and it was one of the worst schools I have…read moreever had to deal with. Most of the teachers are great but some are so horrible that I don't even know how they became teachers. The Principal Dr Coady has no back bone at all and lets everyone tell her how they are going to do what they want and how they think she needs to do her job. I have actually told several parents about how bad the school is and before their children were old enough to enroll or as soon as pre-K was over they moved. So many complain but no one does anything. I have even contacted the BOE several times and yet they have never once done anything about any of the problems.

Go Bulldogs?? I can probably remember 10 people from my graduating class and couldnt tell you who the guest speaker was if my life depended on it. One think I can remember is going to the Junior Senior Prom with my best friend in a taxi, because neither one of our parents had begun to let us date yet. Now that I'm 40 I realize that it really wasn't that bad and that even back then my mom could afford a taxi for that evening which did include dinner, photos, and the prom and the ride back home...all with the meter running cost a pretty penny (even back then). ....I have to remember to thank her for that and apologize for thinking I must have been the lamest kid around. Not much more exciting than that....I was popular, but in my own way....my mom didnt let me date, but I was still popular with all the guys and not for being loose at all...so thats a good thing. All the cool kids called me County Cool....but thats because I was...it was always with love and affection, never meant to be a mean thing....so I guess that being said...I can say the High School years werent bad at all. Maybe I'll hit up that 25 year reunion after all and see if anyone's face looks familiar, because I'm sure I can't remember those names. Go Bulldogs

I shouldn't be hearing from my child the information that should be on ClassDojo or RenWeb newsletters. This is one of the sloppiest schools I've ever sent my child to. If you want your child to just make friends, awesome school for that. You should also ask for the PE and Music standards.
