We were told that all the clothing is made in France and England. I have no reason to suspect otherwise. Assuming this is true then Heroines is a bargain! Perhaps it is my Bronx skepticism kicking-in. The manager/salesperson was outstanding but I can't remember her name. I don't want to say how much we spent, but let's just say we greatly surpassed the US incoming custom's exemption. I guess we'll just need to donate the excess prior to re-entering the homeland...

Dresses, shoes and coats inspired by 1950's vintage style with a modern edge, gorgeous construction and design. Nina helped choose some things that were wonderfully complementary to my body shape stating "it's not about size, but shape". As I'm a few sizes larger in France then the US, this was very helpful to hear. She was a great sales person, spoke beautiful English and was a lot of fun. I adore the jacket I bought and am actually looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it and let the complements roll in.

I fell in love at every turn from the moment we stepped through the door. I picked up gifts for myself, my nephew, and a friend at work. It was the most pleasant and calm shopping experience I've had in a very long time. If you're looking for the most top notch shopping look no further, you'll find the most special items here.

They first introduced the idea of a place with fixed prices and no haggling, which was an intense concept for folks in the 1800s. Pass forward to modern days, I'm not sure if it's still a good deal, because now it is a department store of luxury goods. They have designer fashion, accessories and beauty, home and design and an epic food hall. I'm not into the shopping but I was here to admire the architecture since there was parts of their glass and ironwork done by Gustave Eiffel. Not a must visit, but interesting place to browse if you have some extra time.

My wife found this store advertised in the Paris Metro and we made a trip out to see if was really as good as it sounded. Let me just say one thing to the guys out there, your wife will love you forever if you take them to this store. Everything my wife tried on looked great and fit her perfectly (that seemed really important to her - know I liked it), plus the prices were very reasonable. This is a store where the locals buys their cloths, which made me feel that we were not getting riped off at some tourist trap.

However, be careful about the restrictive return policy - you have 7 days for exchange only. I regretted buying a pair of jeans that were too large and when I took them back to exchange Allison was super rude about how I could only select an item from the new collection - unfortunately almost the entire boutique had been put on sale that day, so I only had a few pieces to choose from. I was ready to spend much more than the original price of the jeans, but after the aggressive service, I left with an exact exchange and a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure I'll be going back.

The designer is very inpired by Spanish and Moroccan influences and has come up with a large collection of womenswear where any woman with a sense of humour and style will find at least a couple of peices to wear. The pink and gold store is really cool and the staff was very nice too, uber trendy but playing their role very professionnally too. Move over Zadig&Voltaire or Vanessa Bruno, as Manoush's creativity may soon catch the Parisians' imagination and sense of style.

Everytime I called to see whether I could come I was told that the manager was sick, or other reasons why I should call back again. Which I did. Then came the confinement, the postponement of the wedding to early September. And, believe it or not, when I called again after the confinemnt, my dress, which bore my name and was put behind the counter in a room, was GONE. I asked for the clerk to look for it. She never called back. When I called , each time I spokje to a different person which knew nothing about the matter, finally I was told it had been sent back to wherever , and had been sold!!!! I asked for the saellady to see if she copuld find another opne. She never called back. When I called again, i was dismissed with unbevievable rudeness.
