Ven'z is the most popular restaurant in the area for a reason! They have a ton of selection, mostly…read moreof the traditional Filipino fare, and their food is quite flavorful with a multitude of ingredients, especially as it applies to a province standard. Their portions are also a bit larger than normal and for the price it is a steal! They even offer vegan dishes which is unheard of in the Philippines. Honestly though, after seeing the poor living conditions of most Filipinos -- and knowing that most would starve with the mandatory lock down that was soon to come with the pandemic -- I don't ever want to be vegan. Alas, I digress... You could tell that they place freshness in high regard as all of their seafood items must be placed well in advanced. I was sad I could not order their kinilaw in that light, but their *Chicken Afritada* (P200) did provide a superior level of comfort! They use real chicken breast, which might have been a tad over done and therefore dry, but it did not matter since the tomato-based stew was rich and well-developed. I thought it was SUPER cute how they shaped the rice into a heart. The *Mango Float* came highly recommended and the fact that most people around us were ordering it gave us high prospects. They do pre-make these and freeze them as it would be difficult to craft the mango slices into what appeared to be a rose! Super crafty and the custard on the bottom was to die for! Ven'z certainly provides a finer dining experience which isn't always the case of most restaurants and eateries in the province. They are an anomaly, but they have figured out a formula that has allowed themselves to be successful and thereby enable them to afford and source the multitude of ingredients needed to cook such tasty meals.

Great environment, and pretty good food! We wanted some authentic Filipino food while in town. The…read morereviews are correct when they say the pork sisig is fantastic. We also got a chorizo pancit dish that was a special which I could take or leave. The way the sausage was cooked was with a sweeter sauce that I didn't prefer and then the pancit itself was just fine.

Great service yummy food traditional to Iloilo. Just love it. Stopped by for lunch & what a great…read morehomecoming for me. Brought backed fond memories of my childhood. Ordered Crispy Pata, Kare-Kare, Fresh Vegetarian Lumpia, Ube Sago (Boba). Crispy Pata is pork leg with skin & bones boiled till tender & deep fried, crispy, so tasty. Be careful of bones tough on your teeth. Kare-Kare is beef stew with peanut sauce, thick & creamy with Pechay, like Bokchoy. Fresh Vegetable Lumpia is veggies wrapped in crepe like wrapper & rolled. Lumpia is not fried a healthy option. It comes with tasty sauce. Ube sago is more like Ube ice cream shake with Boba tapioca pearls. Ube is purple yam, Also good as a dessert drink. It's so rich, creamy & delicious. Nice ending to a great meal. Needless to say I rolled out of the restaurant with leftovers for my next meal in tow. The restaurant is in Robinson shopping mall with parking available. Free WiFi is available. This is my family's favorite traditional ilongo restaurant. Anyone visiting Iloilo must come & try this restaurant.

They serve tons of refreshing juices like Kalamansi juice, mango juice, fresh coconut juice. They also have special menu that's good for a party of 4 posted all around for a fixed price-all good for sharing. Just ask what portions best suits your party. The crispy pata is very good that has some crunchy skin and that perfect umami saltiness. This is located in the province of Iloilo where my in-laws are from. A very nice, upscale resto and oh, you can bring your own liquor and drink there even if it's a black label. They allow it and will even provide ice if you like that. It's a trendy place, clean, wonderful staff. I liked this place and all the foods we had. If you know your Filipino food like i do? I highly recommend this for a nice special dinner. This is a good place.
