He claims he misquoted because he did not know it had to go below the frost line , 36in deep . He has tried to add money every week to the job. I did not bring the right equipment to remove roots .. I need 4000 more , I dug the hole for the slab 30 deep so now we need to build a wall 3 blocks hire .. I need $ 8000 more .. Now that we have the slab in the right location .. as per the original plans he wants more money to buy concrete . For a month I have had concrete, wood, trash and debris all of the place. I met Chris and his team around the corner in our new community while they were replacing a…read moreneighbor's brick treads with PA bluestone treads and the work looked amazing. Knowing we needed to get our brick stairs repaired, we absolutely wanted to do the same bluestone treads. Chris stopped by and we worked on a slightly adjusted plan vs the neighbor's house. Chris did all of the work end to end... Researching my specific questions, acquiring the materials, and scheduling us within a couple of weeks. His team of masons are expert! They did an amazing job including the part I was most concerned about, core drilling the bottom treads and resetting the hand railings. Core drilling and setting in a cement product is the way to go. The railings were loose when we purchased the house. They are firmly set and should be for years to come. I am so glad I noticed them on a walk. So many of our neighbors are slowing down, stopping, or asking questions. I think the work is a hit!
